I have an uncle who is active in Operation Rescue. This organization is actually doing something, legally and lawfully putting themselves out there protesting against abortion. Doing more than 99.9% of the posters on this site are doing to publicize the pro-life cause. As far as I can tell most of whom are just sitting around posting on message boards (also known as preaching to the choir).

I think that it's safe to say that any tenuous affiliation Westboro may have had with Al Gore was pretty much over by the nineties. In '97, due to the Clinton/Gore administrations backing of gay rights, WBC demonstrated at an inaugural ball calling him a "famous fag pimp" and in '98, at the funeral service of his father Albert Gore Sr., they yelled "your dad's in hell".
Conservatives are NOT allies with these scumbags. Of course, that won't stop the MSM from painting it that way.
