The suspect in custody for the slaying of Wichita abortion doctor George Tiller was a member of an anti-government group in the 1990s and a staunch opponent of abortion...
...Those who know Roeder said he believed that killing abortion doctors was an act of justifiable homicide.
"I know that he believed in justifiable homicide," said Regina Dinwiddie, a Kansas City anti-abortion activist who made headlines in 1995 when she was ordered by a federal judge to stop using a bullhorn within 500 feet of any abortion clinic. "I know he very strongly believed that abortion was murder and that you ought to defend the little ones, both born and unborn."

simple - but seemingly too profound for the msm.
Will we see one headline stating the obvious?
“One killer kills another”
Man, first Hitler was killed - then Saddam was killed - now Tiller has been killed. Not to mention all of those innocent babies the three men killed. Must be what in the millions of children killed the three men above?
The earth is a better place without Hitler. I know that much the earth is a better place without Saddam, as well. Now if we could just kill Bin Laden.
I wonder if all of these men will get to confront the babys and innocent people they have killed over the years. Perhaps swim in their blood for the rest of eternity.
At least Tiller wasn’t pulled and yanked apart and then vacuum sucked out of the church.
Is a registered democRAT or is he GOP. The left blamed us for the unibomber until they found out he was a liberal loon and algore fan.
Don’t count on it not working. This time, we are under total Demokratik Dictatorial Control.
Something like this is just what they want to justify stamping down on the right.
Whether the left was a ctually nehind it or not, it will be used as such.
By todays language, isn’t this guy a “freedom fighter”?
Prayers up for Scott Roeder!
Sorry, doesn't qualify, as he's not Muslim.
Well, that article has just about every stereotype I can search in it. Thanks Mr. Roeder, you have just set the Pro-life movement back.....about 50 years.
Mr. Roeder just single handedly reduced the number of viable babies getting their brains sucked out this morning by 33% NATIONWIDE! Amen to that.
That you would equate Scott Roeder to the butcher tiller demonstrates your lack of discernment and shows you cowering before the liberal storm your so afraid of.
Liberals will leverage this regarless of how well you lick their boots. The good thing regardless is that 33% fewer 21 week old babies will have their brains sucked out this morning.
Mr. Roeder just single handedly reduced the number of viable babies getting their brains sucked out this morning by 33% NATIONWIDE!
You mean in Kansas? The USA or the entire world?
John Brown was a failure of a human being who turned to violence in support of a noble cause to gain a sense of purpose. The paralell to today’s murder seems apt. John Brown is no role model. He did not advance the abolitionist movement or help Lincoln one iota.
wasn’t The Battle Hymn of the Republic written after the soldiers used to sing John Brown’s Body? i thought Julia Ward Howe wrote the lyrics to The Battle Hymn at someone else’s urging so that the soldiers could have a more inspirational song to sing...
Analogy time:
What if some nut was shooting babies in a hospital nursery or in a preschool. Along come the cops or some legally armed citizen and shoots the nut and stops the killing. WTF is the difference here , think about it. Many babies will live because of this. I hope it scares the hell out of women thinking of going to an abortion clinic.
Yeah, abortion might be legal, but so was genocide in Germany and Russia, that does not make it moral or acceptable.
I don’t know what to think of Roeder, but lives have been saved because of his actions.
No - they can and will do more than this.
I have thought of that analogy myself. We have people here running around scared about what the MSM will say. The hell with the MSM, political correctness and the people who still believe them.
A baby murderer died today and will no longer murder babies. That's good enough for me.
Nuff said.
Didn’t John Brown also participate in “Bleeding Kansas” when he shot and killed two slave-owners? When I heard the news, and had time to think, since so many people draw comparisons to slavery and abortion, that is sort of what came to mind. However, if I can recall, he was a very controversial figure even to the Anti-Slavery figures who thought that he was taking it too far.
I hate to be so outspoken, as I usually try to lurk and observe. Yet I feel like adding my own input because a lot of the articles on here castigating the Pro-Life side have put me in a funk, probably along with many others. Yet, as I have said on another post, the Liberals have put the worst person ever to be the martyr of the Abortion movement. It is only because he is notorious and controversial, plus a part of Kansas politics, that he generates attention in the first place.
Maybe they will introduce a new Hate Crimes bill with an addendum for Abortion providers and the such.
I’m a pro-lifer, and I unequivocally say the roeder is a scum sucking POS. He did our cause ZERO good and MUCH harm.
