Conservatives are going to HAVE to be tolerant, or we'll find ourselves in a minority in perpetuity. If a politican doesn't toe the conservative line, I don't mind, as long as he or she is conservative on the abortion issue, even marginally so. If they're soft on other issues, I can deal with that, but I just don't want them working AGAINST conservative issues, or trashing conservatives, as many RINOS tend to do.

Cheney didn't do anything to push homosexual marriage on this country, so if he personally supports it, that's up to him, and it doesn't bother me.

We won't get purity in a candidate for national election; they wouldn't get the votes of independents, which ARE needed, no matter how much we are annoyed by that prospect.

you’re describing John McLAME.. and look what it got us. Screw it... I held my nose and voted for McLame, but ... it won’t happen again.

I hate to say this, but without a VetoPROOF Majority in both houses,The ONLY thing a President can do about abortion is appoint Justices to the Supreme Court that can overturn ROE v. Wade... and that isn’t going to happen in my lifetime.

I just now watched Dick Cheney on Gretta support gay marriage and it almost made me puke. So he caved because he has a queer daughter, but what about “morality”. This is why all politician's trustworthiness is down in the dumps.
