PHILADELPHIA — A U.S. court says a kindergartner's mother cannot read Scripture during show and tell, even if the Bible is the boy's favorite book.
Monday's ruling is a victory for the Marple Newtown School District in suburban Philadelphia.
The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals says the school's decision does not violate First Amendment rights given the nonpublic nature of the classroom and the tender age of the children.

Why would a Christian parent send her children to a government school?
For at least 50 years now we have had judges just saying whatever they want the law to be, is what it is.

Anyways, it was near the end of the end and parents were coming in to pick up their kids. I overheard a few talking with the teacher on “What is the military doing here?” and “We need to bring in an environmentalist to balance him out!”

We need to contact this mother. She needs to come in and read the Bible, and get arrested if need be. We need to have folks jammed into the school that day to support her, and then right on to the Supreme Court. We will WIN this case...we just need to get some light on it. This is a slam dunk. The Appeals court far overstepped its bounds, and violated the 1st and 10th Amendements.

The little ones are too impressionable to hear anything from the Bible, but they must be exposed to the notion of homosexual relationships, so that they will accept it as normal.

Any sober, married parent can afford to send his or her children to a Christian school. Maybe not an elitist sort of country day school, but a school where Christ is worshipped, God’s law is honored, and, not incidentally, little minds are educated.
Someone has to explain this to me.
things sure have changed. I went to a public school, and we had bible study, a literature class, but none the less bible study.
Sometimes believers choose to do this, we must all consider what God desires from us. I have one in public school and one that we homeschool. I know my older is a light in a dark place. She is well grounded and knows what she believes. We also live in a conservative pocket in a liberal state. I just ask you to bit paint with a broad brush.
