As a general rule as a thread progresses, the ping lists tend to grow. I have had a number of disagreements with wagglebee on this thread and others. He did not ping his "posse", he just pinged a bunch of us who had responded to his posts, argued with him, agreed with him or whatever.

Indeed, I had already been pinged by metmom to the post by humblegunner.

And my reply to her was "Jeepers" which roughly means I never would have expected that from him.

I very much appreciate the follow-up pings in the hopes that he will extend and clarify the earlier remarks as all of you shed light on why that initial post was so disturbing.
