Liberals May Be Looking for a Take-Back (from Øbama)
Washington comPost ^ | 6/4/2009 | Dana Milbank

President Obama is just killing the progressive movement.

For the past few years, liberal activists have gathered in Washington each spring for the Take Back America conference, where speaker after speaker -- Obama sometimes among them -- would give rollicking denunciations of the Bush administration before packed rooms of partisans.

But now that Obama has actually taken back America, the activists at this year's gathering feel a bit like the dog that finally caught up with the car. Organizers changed the name from Take Back America to America's Future Now, but that didn't prevent a sharp decline in participation.

At sparsely attended sessions this week at the Omni Shoreham, the progressive leaders debated whether they should shift their efforts to defending Obama, or fighting him when he strays from liberal doctrine. "It was easy taking back America," Robert Borosage, the conference organizer, told about 250 of the faithful at yesterday's closing luncheon. "Now we have to remake it. . . . That's the hard work."

Apparently so. Speakers at the closing session exhorted the liberals to take back America -- from Obama. "The president of the most powerful country in the world is doing all right, but there are a lot of people in this country who are not doing all right," writer Naomi Klein told the crowd. "Obama is making us stupid," she added. "Love can make you stupid."

"Now we have to remake it.

In order to do that, Oboma has to destroy the country we have first. He's done plenty of damage already, but not enough. Maybe that's why he's hugging and kissing the Muslims. He needs a 9/11 type favor.

"The president of the most powerful country in the world is doing all right, but there are a lot of people in this country who are not doing all right,"

Why don't they just get a job like normal people?

SHARE THE WORK (and the wealth will share itself).

Stated well here:

2 Thes 3:6-15
A Warning Against Idleness
6In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers, to keep away from every brother who is idle and does not live according to the teaching[a] you received from us. 7For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, 8nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. 9We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to make ourselves a model for you to follow.

10For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “If a man will not work, he shall not eat.”
11We hear that some among you are idle. They are not busy; they are busybodies. 12Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the bread they eat. 13And as for you, brothers, never tire of doing what is right.

14If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of him. Do not associate with him, in order that he may feel ashamed. 15Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.

captive, lost souls seek their significance in their groupthink, in their “social activism”, and in their “hipness”

A tribal mentality. They never got past the first stage of Maslowes Hierarchy.

They find their safety and security in their numbers. They can cuddle among the others and remain individually invisible, and therefore safer. Together, as a tribe, they can rape and plunder for their physical needs. They aren't learned enough to move beyond that.

In order for them to survive, they need another persons teat to suckle.

Which is why the left hates God. As a matter of fact, political correctness is the opposite of the 10 Commandments. They're what the Bible refers to as "doctrines of demons."

Remove God from the public square, and his opposite moves in to fill the void.

Maslowe’s Hierarchy is based on worldly/satanic lies about human nature - that if put in the right environment, everyone will act “good”.

Think about it - the very pinnacle of that triangle is “self-actualization”, ie, doing whatever you want.

The “church” of Satan has but one law:
“Do what thou will shall be the whole of the law”

I wonder if green persimmons would be too sweet for them.

It's based on the stages people go through to reach adulthood, eventually ending where up materialism is no longer that important.

Maybe you haven't much experience with natural human development. Babies aren't born adults, no matter how you want to look at it. They have to learn to become altruistic adults.
Actualization is the opposite of "Doing anything you want." ( That's found way down in n stages 2 & 3. ) Actualization is the growing out of those stages.

Which came first?

The Liberalism
or
the stupidity?
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Stupidity is inherited but liberalism has to be taught to those stupid enough to understand it.

It’s still based on a humanistic premise, not God’s truth. As you posted elsewhere, the two are in opposition. One is from the “spirit of error” and the other from the Spirit of Truth (1 John 4).

Collossians 2:8
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

So we disagree on this one. No big deal.

This is liberalism, i.e., political correctness. These are the "Doctrines of Demons" being preached in the apostate churches. Political correctness "tickles the ears" of the ungodly, and enslaves the righteous.

This has nothing to do with infants needing food, shelter, and mothering. It has nothing to do with a child learning how to walk and talk.
