If I won the lottery I would not publish my name. I would form a LLC and have the co.claim the money...I would hope I could keep it quiet.

Would even keep it from my family until I had set my plan into action, especially the security aspect.
I would have no problem telling people to back off - family or not. LOL
That would be my inclination as well, but I'm not sure that the winner has a choice in the matter. Doesn't the lottery bureau/commission reserve the right to use the name for promotional purposes? I'm pretty sure that is the case here(Louisiana)at least. Perhaps the rules differ from state to state.
