People around her need to stop telling her she is a fashion plate. By doing so they show they really aren’t her friend. She is a middle-aged woman with an average figure (nothing wrong with that, I’m one too). She should have a nice, really experienced designer make her clothes of really good fabric and construction with a little flair and she would do fine.

That dress is pretty nice - but - put the fool belt on the inside - jeepers....
Oh that wide belt is hideous! It’s like she saw a suit of medieval plate armor in a museum, fell in love with the belt and just had to have it.
That second picture has the belt looking like a the metal band on the top of a Bob Evans sausage package.
wanna bet the designer of that outfit is furious with her for adding the fugly belt? it tends to ride up in the front and gives her an overweight appearance. she should get dressed and take the loudest statement back OFF, then walk out the door....she would do much better. someone lock up her belts already. please.
Her arms are so long the 3/4 length sleeves look like 1/2 length sleeves.

He outfit is actually nice .. but the belt just emphasizes (IMHO) her weak points and ruins the outfit for me
I rather like the look of the pony tail at the Eiffel Tower.. not the outfit. I too am curious about the extras - people wise - on this trip.

you look better in the cheapos from GAP than the designer junk your advisors (or you) dress in for state visits
