I believe Jesus took his problem with money lenders, directly up with the money lenders. He didn’t attack their children, their family members or their friends.
Seems to me that this sort of action runs contrary to our Lord’s commandment to ‘Love one another’. Although it’s difficult to do, we are supposed to love and pray for our enemies.
These people are not the enemy, they are family and friends of our enemy. Chances are more than even that a great many may have hated his deeds, but loved the man.
Kinda hypocritial, to support people who protest a funeral; and then condemning the Phelps degenerates who do the same thing, isn’t it?
Is it OK to protest a funeral, as long as you agree with the group’s policies? I think this is a universal ‘wrong’.
