Reggie Love, an assistant to President Barack Obama, walks across the South Lawn of the White House after disembaking from Marine One on June 7, 2009 Washington, DC. President Obama was returning from an overseas trip to the Middle East and Europe.

There are...certain similarities which might
explain the similar enthusiastic reactions in France.
The French love surrealism, absurdism, and the comic fool.
Also, Lewis often played a dork who had no idea what he was doing.

Is this the same restaurant where God had a tester tasting his food? Maybe God suspects that - well, not everybody thinks he’s God. Maybe he’s afraid the real God is going to serve him a toxic snail...

The "La Fontaine de Mars" restaurant in Paris. A US "taster" tested the food being dished up to President Barack Obama at a dinner in a French restaurant.

Looks like Paris fashion has taken a nosedive.

That is just awful.

Sort of God

Newsweek editor Evan Thomas brought adulation over President Obama’s Cairo speech to a whole new level on Friday, declaring on MSNBC: "I mean in a way Obama’s standing above the country, above – above the world, he’s sort of God."

Revelation 13:1-10

I have considered that

Rev: 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Rev: 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

I guess in July 2011 (42 months) if Obama is no longer POTUS, we will know.

I wonder if he always travels with his own taster or if it was just a spur of the moment thing brought on by a temporary fit of dictator-paranoia. You know, that nagging little voice that says, “But maybe they don’t ALL think I’m God...”

Yes. The French have a long history of being suckered into the God-substitution-or-repudiation thing. Harken back to the French Revolution when the then-leaders declared there was no God and then proceeded to kill every priest they could lay their hands on just to make sure the declaration would stick. History repeats itself—proving the French (in general) are a pack of idiots with no capacity for independent thought. I worry about us....

13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea

It would be interesting if a birth certificate did come out saying he truly was born in Hawaii.

To ALL, just theories here right now.

I’ve never before heard of a US President having a food taster. Is this normal or something new with Obama?

That wasn’t France where that picture was taken. It was in Prague when Germany entered (so I’ve been told);secondly it was French media that wrote how they preferred Hitler over Blum, the French premier at the time ....
