Al Gore is no Ross Perot
here and there ^ | 6/8/09 | rebelbase

Two of Algore's employees are rotting in a North Korean prison.

It was 30 years ago that two of Ross Perot's employees were rotting in an Iranian prison. The outcome for those two men was that their boss cared. Not a word out of Algore on the current matter.

From Wiki:

"Just prior to the 1979 Iranian Revolution, the government of Iran imprisoned two EDS employees in a contract dispute. Perot organized and sponsored a successful rescue. The rescue team was led by retired U.S. Army Special Forces Colonel Arthur D. ('Bull') Simons. When the team couldn't find a way to extract their two prisoners, they decided to wait for a mob of pro-Ayatollah revolutionaries to storm the jail and free all 10,000 inmates, many of whom were political prisoners. The two prisoners then connected with the rescue team, and the team spirited them out of Iran via a risky border crossing into Turkey."

Two men, and unfortunately for Al Gore's employees, most likely two totally different outcomes.

This is what happens when you have liberal press running around dangerous places, now some military service members in all likelyhood will have to risk their lives to save their butts.

That’s right! And Ross Perot was certainly no WW2 hero like George Herbert Walker Bush whose lip reading B.S. took him out of the picture... WHAM!!!

Shortly after U.S. Army Special Forces Colonel Arthur D. (’Bull’) Simons led this successful rescue our pathetic former president jimmy carter commanded a failed rescue attempt to rescue our embassy hostages. As everyone knows this Carter operation as poorly planned, poorly executed and those hostages stayed confined until the moment a real man took over, RONALD REAGAN.

Ken Follett wrote a fascinating book on the rescue. It is called “On Wings of Eagles”. Perot really cared about his men and put together a strong team of volunteers. They also had a lot of help in Iran from a guy who joined the team on the return flight to Texas and went to work for EDS (another impossible task for the guy had no visa or other papers).
