Dead on. Everybody is ignoring the fact that McDonnell beat Deeds by less than 1K votes last time they went head to head. Add having the messiah ‘organize’ the community for Deeds can’t be good for McD. We’ll have to be very busy between now and November. Good. That means the Republicans have to run on their own merits, instead of just trashing the 'Rat.
It's simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH for the Republican to be "Not a 'Rat". He has to be worth voting for in his own right. McDonnell and Cuccinelli are both worth voting FOR. I hope that's what they make their campaigns about. It's certainly what I've seen so far on TV ... and that's a good thing.
