Perfectly put. Reagan played the part of President, perhaps better than anyone in the modern area. And, that's not a pejorative statement. It's a nod to Reagan's unparalleled ability to communicate and inspire the "every man".
Reagan understood the media and how to use it to his advantage and milk it for all it was worth. Even the liberal media. He knew how to control it and to get it to work for him rather than against him for the most part. He was a true master at communication and political saavy. We need another just as smart in those areas.
