TUCSON, AZ - Three people have been arrested in connection with last months deadly double homicide in Arivaca that left a nine-year-old and her father dead. One of the people arrested for the homicide is the National Executive Director of the Minuteman American Defense group (M.A.D.), a group known for patrolling the border, and is dedicated to "Defending America's Borders" according to their website - http://minutemenamericandefense.org/
Jason Eugene Bush, 38, Shawna Forde, 42 and Albert Robert Gaxiola, 43, were all taken into custody and charged in connection with the murders of 29-year-old Raul Flores and 8-year-old Brisenia Flores. Both were killed during an alleged home invasion.
According to authorities, Bush, Forde, and Gaxiola broke into the home of the Flores family just after midnight on May 30th. At the time, the mother, father and daughter were home. The invaders reportedly shot the three members of the Flores family, killing the father, Raul, and the daughter, Brisenia. The invaders then left the scene.

Oh boy....so we’ll go from being “vigilantes” to
“racist, xenophobes committing hate crimes”, “right-wing extremist Minute-men” perhaps even “domestic terrorists”....wouldn’t surprise me a bit. The media will COMPLETELY ignore that these idiots have nothing to do with the Minutemen...but that’s EXACTLY how it will be played.
The press is putting up straw men to cover Omama’s butt in failing to pursue the war on terror, failure to confront Iran and failure to stop N. Korea from targeting us with a nuclear missile. The press is, instead, raising the false idea that our country is in danger from the conservative right and citing a few nut jobs as representative of the right. Meanwhile, Islamic radicals are planning terror attacks as we sleep.

Don’t play their game. If you’re not racist and you’re not a killer, why should you care about their erroneous characterizations? Don’t waste time defending yourself - they’re wrong, it’s that simple.
For once, the local Arizona Red Star newspaper was a bit more fair (an unusual event...:^)

With all the millions of people in our country, there are bound to be a few of these whacko murders and other crimes.
How many Americns are killed by drunken illegals going through red lights every day? But these stories are never mentioned except locally, and quickly forgotten.
All the left wing press has to do is choose there stories. It would hardly be surprising if they can find suitable material for their smears once a week or so, given the numbers. Plus their willingness to twist the facts a bit, as they have in this story and the Holocaust Museum killing.

I thought MCDC vetted people? How did she get to be a leader? She had the key to Camp Vigilance in CA when and that was last fall.

Forde was a leader with the Civil Defense Corps a few years ago but was dismissed after a few months because of leadership issues, he said.
Garza did not have a working relationship with Forde, but he met her when she came to Arizona in 2005, he said.
“She showed signs of poor leadership, but I didn’t see any wrongdoing,” he said.
Forde's organization is not directly connected to the more commonly known minutemen organization, Minutemen Civil Defense Corps or the Minutemen project run by Chris Simcox and James Gilchrist.
Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik says, "We are not charging any of the minutemen groups with anything. But one of these individuals was involved with one of those groups."
I’ll wait until more information is out, to judge what the true motives were, but breaking into someone’s house and killing them, is despicable. And the killing of the nine year old girl is about as disgusting as it gets.
I’m glad the mom pulled through so these assholes can be brought to justice. She has my sympathy for what took place.
Somewhat off topic, but I’m going to say it anyway...
Illegal immigration is wrong. I am dead set opposed to it. I have a no tolerance belief system when it comes to illegal immigrants.
That being said, I in no way wish to see illegal immigrants mistreated. They should be ejected from our nation, to their nation of origin. They should not be physically harmed, and their property should go with them.
This is about the rule of law, and keeping our nation from being over-run or materially altered by any group of people.
I can only speculate that unstable and less ethical folks had more opportunities to rise once the MM movement tapered off. Gilchrist also started spending all his time traveling from one meeting to another while leaving MMDC business in the hands of others. Now Jim is facing several lawsuits while accusations of fraud persist.
I never thought I’d see the day he’d be brought low like Simcox. Sad.

The only connection is Shawna Forde, who was apparently involved with MCDC at a high level until she was asked to leave in 2007. She is also involved in MMP with Gilchrist at some level. He has issued statements of support for both Forde and MAD, which is her minuteman group.
