I think that amendment only applies to Americans, not to Kenyans.

Then they need to think about the fact that Justice Stevens is 90 years old. Does anyone really think that he's immune to the same ravages of age that is taking our parents/grandparents?

One of my uncles was in his late 80s and he forgot to turn off some bacon one morning and he almost burned the house down. My dad just turned 93 and often tells me the same thing several times an hour or two apart.

That makes me wonder what those justices are thinking when they make their decisions. Most people want to retire and live an easy live when they turn 60 or 65, and these people want to stay there forever, i.e., Sen. Robert KKK Byrd.

Term limits should stay for the President. But we should add them for Senators, Representatives, and Supreme Court Justices.

Wow. I’ve got to do more research on the 16th amendment. How could someone declare it enacted by decree, legally? And to think that everyone has just gone alone with it all these years.

Yep, our current Secretary of State has the greatest personal and professional integrity that any public servant has ever had. She and her husband are role models for all of us in their honesty and integrity in their various public offices that they have held. (sarcasm)

The day that is passed, is the day Americans better be prepared to do one of 3 things: Fight for the Constitution and win, live your lives under a dictator or leave this country.

If anything, we should add term limits to Congress

Never happen.
____________
My God, it’s a miracle. We agree. But probably not for the same reason. I believe it will never happen because the citizens would rise up and we would see protests like they are having in Iran. I am going to guess you believe our stellar Senators would never vote for it.

I think the Constitution should be ammended to provide for a vote of no-confidence, where the entire freekin government, all 535 of the idiots, go home!!

Then we start over.
