Back in the day, we used to have “meat free Fridays”. But, Vatican II took care of that. I suspect this will be met with the same fate.

I’m thinking about giving up insects 50 weeks out of the year. Not all insects. Just the beetles.

I'll order something from the cardiologist lovers menu on Monday. I love the ground pig: A whole boneless pig shoved into a grinder and fried up, just for you.

With Obama spending our money like it was his, we may soon have more then one day a week without meat
mayhap days without food. ;-)

Apparently they are late to the party. Many Christians have been doing meatless Fridays a long time before Yoko and John were ever around.
Although maybe they don’t like it because it wasn’t started to be vegetarian, it was to prop up the local economy in the Italian fish markets.

Somebody should tell them that Friday night is pizza night. It might give them a leg up.

Go ahead, Yoko and Paul. You’re free to follow whatever dietary restrictions you want. Just leave us out of it.

Rather silly to choose Monday as a meat free day.
Lots of families in the UK enjoy the Sunday roast and Monday is a day for left overs.
To: traumer
Paul, I will give up meat one day a week if you eat meat one day a week.

If the world’s livestock populations are emitting all that dangerous greenhouse gas, shouldn’t we be doing the earth a favor and eating MORE of them. ;-)

Meat free Mondays are fine with me, but what is the Veggie free day? How about veggie free Thursdays? Cow only Tuesday’s? Pork and cream Wednesdays? Lets gave some real diversity here. Its for the children don’t you know.
