Putin Slams Obama Tax Proposal (The world is upside down)
Moscow Times ^ | 6/16/09 | staff

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Monday criticized U.S. President Barack Obama's plan to raise taxes on U.S. companies' foreign operations, saying it would amount to double taxation that will hurt the global economy.

"This is a serious decision for the world economy," Putin said at a meeting of the Presidium, the government said on its web site. "If taxes are imposed on all companies working abroad, then it will mean the total destruction of the system for avoiding double taxation."

Putin instructed Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin to hold discussions on the plan with Obama's administration.

Kudrin met with finance ministers from the Group of Eight over the weekend and signed an agreement with Italy outlining a system for avoiding double taxation.

Obama has proposed canceling a provision of the tax code that allows foreign subsidiaries of U.S. corporations to defer tax payments on money that is reinvested in local operations.

"It's a tax code that says you should pay lower taxes if you create a job in Bangalore, India, than if you create one in Buffalo, New York," he said in May, referring to the current state of the U.S. tax code, media reported.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Monday criticized U.S. President Barack Obama's plan to raise taxes on U.S. companies' foreign operations, saying it would amount to double taxation that will hurt the global economy.

That's newspeak for "it will interfere with the parasitic redistribution of US taxpayer and US consumer wealth to other nations".

When a US company offshores part of its operations:

One more thing: Obama isn't doing any of this to relieve the pressure on US taxpayers and consumers.

He is simply cutting in on taking over the graft currently being taken by the Free Traitors ...

Just like with lying, cheating, thieving investment brokers, mortgage brokers, bankers, insurance companies, health insurance scammers, government funded non-profits, ... Next up will be the labor brokers and recruiters, and on and on. Anywhere there is a major cash flow, he's taking over the operation.

The corruption was already here -- he is simply playing the part of the NEW pimp, and drug dealer, and loan shark, and labor broker, and protection racket, and collector, and so forth, only on a larger scale.

"Unbelievable. An Ex-KGB guy and the Chicoms are more capitalistic than Obama."

Foreign commies love our unilateral capitalism, as long as our liberal US corporate bosses are funding the buildups of their nuclear arsenals against the USA (not to mention the anti-American, anti-family garbage that our business leaders sponsor through the media and universities). Far be it from us to practice the "protectionism" that our foreign enemies are practicing in their own countries.

But drive on with the big spending, bipartisan free traitors and Democrats! We'll be better off after exhaustion of the debt schemes and the big defaults to follow. We'll learn to do some real work again while getting reacquainted with the consequences of propping up slavery-supporting social programs.

The RINOs and the Democrats; then the Democrats and the RINOS;

Sarah Palin is the first and only pro-American politician to grace the national stage in more than twenty years.

Let’s be honest here, Putin is still an evil man. I think he is just enjoying the chance to mock a complete n00b in Obama.

They are more alike than different. Putin has seized many companies, and likely ordered the murder of some former CEOs, one such case in London with radioactive poison of soem sort.

“If Bush’s immigration policies hadn’t turned America into a Bannana Republic, this clown would have been yanked out of office through an impeachment process weeks ago.”

Oh horse hockey on a stick with a coating of bird dump and raccoon crap sprinkles. If idiotic republicrats had nominated something other than McCain, damn near anything but that guy, The One wouldn't even be in. Besides, however you characterize what Bush did it doesn't mean squat. It wasn't anyone other than self interested idiots that keep sending “their guy” back to the House or Senate because it's always someone else causing the problems, not their guy, no he's looking out for them.

How damn many republicans feathered their own nests with those low interest loans they got for their real estate clients? How many builders refused to work on the crap loans? None, not one, you can't find one, and you didn't give a crap when Bush was trying to stop it, four years in a row. Just like the Internet boom, you were trying to hustle up a ‘greater fool’ and now that you found one, damn if he isn't in the white house.

Blow it out your ear. You're either a democrap trolling or exactly the kind of idiot Republican who brought this mess on us. Next time you want to blame Bush for something just post a link to Powell or some other crat in sheep's clothing.

have a nice, Bannana Picking day, jerk

Let’s be honest here, Putin is still an evil man.

Perhaps, but his nation is Russia, and he isn't deliberately destroying his own country and people to enrich himself (as our business and political leaders have been doing for two decades).

Foreign are less a threat to US citizens than the traitors among us.

I would wholeheartedly disagree with your assessment of Putin, and previous generations of Russian leadership. They have been destroying and looting with wild abandon.

With the BRIC discussions centering on diminishing (or eliminating) the US role in world affairs, people might start getting a clue to just how badly we have been sold out by our own businesses and politicians. Maybe.

At this point, if Putin runs against Obama in 2012, I’ll vote for Putin.

Especially if he picks Sarah as his running mate.
