DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THIS ONE?
Nealz Nuze ^ | June 17, 2009 | Neal Boortz

It happened last night.

There was debate on the floor of the House over some amendments to a spending bill. The amendments were offered by Republicans and concerned funding for ACORN and an investigation into Nancy Pelosi's problems with the CIA.

As I understand the story, the Democrats announced that there would be no more votes that evening, and Republicans started heading home.

When enough Republicans were gone the Democrats headed back to the House floor and called for a vote to end debate on all amendments to the spending bill.

Republicans scrambled to get back into the House, but it was too late. Democrats saved Pelosi and ACORN with their little chicanery. For now.

ACORN is a criminal enterprise and needs criminals to help them along.

It’s the Republicans’ fault for being stupid enough to trust Democrats.

Isn’t it great to know that the Republicans still haven’t learned they cannot trust the Dems? They have pulled this on the ‘Pubs several times, to the point that it was even portrayed on the West Wing once. Once a sucker....

Have the Republicans said anything about this?

I thought not.

Glenn Beck just reported on this. I honestly have very little fight left in me. Everyday it’s several things. They are deliberately throwing so much out there so that people won’t have time to understand it before they cram it in an pass it. Until every single Republican walks out in DC and shuts things down in protest, I have no hope for anything in this country.
So close to packing by bags, heading South and leaving it all behind. Vacation home is lonely, I think it wants us there all of the time.

"And its only just getting its legs."

...And ACORN is their legs, literally. I'm sure their weakness is on an individual level, the vast majority of those ACORN people are pathetic, and probably couldn't even field strip an AR15.

Americans don’t have it in them. Even here on FR look at the posts on the American Idol thread. The average American has become too PC, lazy and dumbed down.
Look at the Iranians. They feel they were cheated out of their vote. They want their freedom. How long did they wait? How many are protesting? Point made. The tyrant in the WH is daily stripping us of our rights and we can barely muster a few hundred or thousand for tea parties. I seriously see no hope. It pains me to see it, but it’s true and I think most of you know it.
