Although Overseas Chinese have been of great financial importance to Big China in recent decades they've also been a political thorn in the side.

The oligarchs in Big China would like nothing better than to SEND A MESSAGE to all the several hundreds of million Overseas Chinese by letting North Korea lob a missile into Hawaii, the home of the RICHEST Overseas Chinese.

A missile lobbed into Alaska will do nothing but increase the price of China's oil and coal imports.

That would be stupid. Their goal is to become the world's premier superpower. They do that by helping us to continue to bury ourselves in debt. Helping NK launch a nuke would be as smart as us helping Mexico launch a nuke at Europe.
