I just don’t ‘get’ Twitter.
I’ve spent a couple of hours on the #IranElection thread the past couple of days and between the RT’s and the fake messages that lead to who knows what, there is very little useful information. The messages flow like the Niagara. It’s the biggest gossip mill on the planet, at the moment.
Hopefully, someone will come up with a better model.
Streaming images is pretty interesting. The text isn’t.

I think it’s a silly fad. Nothing of much importance is going to be said in 140 characters or less, and breaking information up into lots of little pieces makes for an incoherent mess.
It’s web based IRC, with the same amount of depth.
