This administration is filled with spinmeisters of the highest order. The Chairman could be on tape executing someone and his handlers would find a way to make you think it was a politically courageous act. And with 95% of the mainstream press being perfectly willing to parrot everything that comes out of the White House it makes them that much more dangerous. We really have our work cut out for us with this administration.

I hear this Walpin guy is a crazy old coot

Penny didn't say that. She was quoting someone else - who I assume was being sarcastic.

I believe you nailed it.
As immersed as I was in the perpetual scandal factory that characterized the Clinton Administration from the beginning, it’s hard to keep all those details fresh in your mind, as we are now fully launched into a new Adminstration busy creating its own scandals. The corollaries keep on a’comin’.

......and just as we never found out what needed to be known about that question, so too will we remain ever ignorant about all the circumstances surrounding Walpin’s firing.

Martha Stewart and Scooter Libby both went to jail for lying to the FBI. I wonder if Kevin Johnson or anybody in his circle lied to the FBI.

Good point.

I read that Pat Fitzgerald was trying to get Peter Lance's newest version of Triple Cross banned. In the book, Lance indicates that Fitzgerald failed in trying the 1st WTC bombers and this failure was also part of the 9/11 saga.

Kevin Johnson may be the red herring....Listen to Glenn Beck as he ties AmeriCorp to Acorn.....The other part of Walpins investigation had to do with AmeriCorp and UNYC.

The White House should be embarrassed, they broke the very law that Obama co-sponsored as a Senator.

But don't worry, they'll get away with this too. :D
