With just two days left, Hot Air continues to surge! Our latest count brings their total to $13,005.70 in care package! We're absolutely stunned with the great success of this blogger competition-further noted by EVERY team's standing on our score board.

The Anti-Jihadists continue their strong rally and remain in second with $5,099.21. And in a remarkable comeback, Ron Winter's Greyhawks team is now in third with $1,574.64 for care packages. Our new teams, FreeRepublic.com and Family Security Matters, are in fourth and fifth with $274.95 and $224.98, respectively. And, Team COINS rounds up the list in sixth with $124.98 for care packages. The latest roster and standings can be seen here.

Thank you for pushing this great event and encouraging your readers to sponsor care packages to the troops! We have been quite impressed with all the terrific postings we've seen-please keep up the great work and help us finish strong!

Most important-this competition is not over! We're awarding prizes to the top three finishing teams and we're also going to announce a special prize for the team that brings in the most contributions for care packages in any single day. Any team can still win that special prize, so let's keep pushing!

And again, please let me know if you have any questions or need any additional information. Thank you again!

Cheers!

Celebrity List Grows for
MAF Care Package Drive

The phenomenal Miss California USA Carrie Prejean will attend and participate in Move America Forward’s Troopathon tomorrow in person at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library!

She’ll be joined by a long list of Hollywood stars, talk radio titans, two former Presidents and current and former military men and women.  Together, they’ll rally patriots across the country to send care packages, honor our military, and make history.

Carrie is a great last-minute addition to a project that already includes such luminaries at Rush Limbaugh, Kelsey Grammer, and Dennis Miller. But the real stars are our proud men and women in uniform, and the real force behind the effort is the critical mass of grateful Americans capable of coming together to sending the largest shipment of care packages to our troops in history.

Be a part of this coalition today, and help us show our troops we care!

Yup, I fixed Ann Coulter's name so it could be seen better and Carrie Prejean is going to be there in person!

Tommorrow!

SHOWTIME!

Our Troops Are Fighting to Protect Us
The Time is NOW to Support our Troops

It is time to prove our mettle as troop supporters and give it our all.  This is the moment when we can choose to make history and inspire the men and women of our military with our love for them.

Today from 4pm to midnight EST Melanie Morgan, Mark Williams and Andrew Breitbart will lead the web event of the year, bringing together top celebrities and troops on the ground to make our big final push to send the largest shipment of care packages to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

None of the celebrities will matter unless Americans like you step up and support our troops by sponsoring a care package today so we can break the record and make a strong statement in support of our troops.

Our troops count on your support at critical moments like these.

On today’s webcast, made possible by Ustream.tv, you’ll see the outpouring of support we’re experiencing from the top talkers on radio like Rush Limbaugh, major TV personalities like Greg Gutfeld, bloggers like Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey, actors like Jon Voight, authors like Walid Phares, and pro-troop leaders like Pete Hegseth. You’ll also get word from the battlefield as guests join us from Iraq and Afghanistan to give you the real stories that we don’t hear enough of and attest to the meaningfulness of a package from home.

Our lineup of guests for this landmark event is truly unparalleled.  Nowhere else can you find such a top-notch, broad and inclusive powerhouse of luminaries coming together on one day for one important cause, and that means we have a unique opportunity.

Our All-Star lineup will give us a shot at making history today.

So join us and be a part of this momentous event.  See all the details at Troopathon.org, watch the stream live from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library from 1pm to 9pm Pacific/4pm to midnight Eastern here, spread the word by telling a friend and please send care packages to our troops today.

Together, we can send the largest-ever shipment of goodies to our friends and neighbors serving in the military and fight America’s enemies around the world. We can do it, and they more than deserve it.

So help us make history and shower our troops with the largest shipment of love and care packages in history.  There are a number of different sized care packages you can sponsor - whether you want to show your support for just a couple of our troops or a full Battalion or Company

The hotlinks in the post above that go directly to the donation page will give credit to Free Republic in the Blogger Shootout Competition.

The final tabulation of the Blogger Shootout!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE HOT AIR STEAMERS!

Our leaders from the very beginning pulled off an inspiring win in our very first blogger shootout-congratulations to Ed Morrisey and his Hot Air Steamers team!  After completing our final tabulation, the Hot Air Steamers brought in $24,704.36 for care packages!

Ron Winter and his Greyhawks pulled off second, bringing in an amazing $17,146.06-most in the final hours of the competition. Robert Spencer's Anti-Jihadists came in third with $9,298.72 for care packages.

It was a fantastic competition, thank you for your participation-your hard work will go far in sending care packages to our brave troops overseas.

Mr. Captn Syncro and Free Republic came in fourth with a total of $1,249.78 for care packages.
And Ms. Nancy with Family Security Matters finished fifth, bringing in $849.91. And, Marc Danziger and his Team COINS finished in sixth with $124.98. But remember, everyone was a winner in this competition-and we're so grateful for all your help! Thank you!

Cheers!

Move America Forward

A big THANK YOU to all the FR people that donated to the Troops!

We were "late to the party" but did quite well considering!
