WESTWOOD—American icon and pop singer Michael Jackson died on Thursday, June 25, according to breaking reports. TMZ first reported that Jackson, 50, passed away.

Jackson was known for his slew of popular songs over the last four decades, including "Thriller" and "Billie Jean" and for his now-legendary mini-movie/music video for "Thriller" which is still a very popular song and music video today, more than 20 years later.

Jackson was also known for his singular antics off the stage, including his wearing of pajamas to court appearances and apparently dangling one of his children off of a balcony.

According to available information, authorities responded to a call that Jackson was in distress early on Thursday afternoon, and soon after transported him to the world famous UCLA Medical Center.

MichaelJackson.com reveals that the singer and proclaimed "King of Pop" was scheduled to perform in quite a few concerts in the United Kingdom between July 8, 2009 and March 6, 2010.

Jackson would have been 51 this August.

(attempting to hi-jack thread)
I watched Ed and Johnny last night for over an hour on YouTube, and I haven’t laughed that much in years.
Check out Carol Wayne, Tea-Time Theatre, and Jack Benny,Mel Blanc, and Johnny together.
They’re all gone now.

Biggest story? Maybe. Far and away? No. They are always credited with breaking the biggest hollywood stories. They are routinely ahead of the MSM in EVERYTHING Hollywood related and are constantly being credited by the MSM for it.

I'm gonna make love
Even when I'm dead
My body might get cold
But it's warm in my bed

Not to be disrespectful or anything, but I wouldn’t be surprised if more Americans pay attention to Michael Jackson’s death than the bloodbath going on in Iran.

People in this country and so apathetic and ethnocentric. It is really sickening!

It’s painful seeing all the hideous video of Jackson with his nose chopped off. ‘Thriller’ was a great, great album made at the height of his career, and the last truly great thing he did. That was 25 years ago. Jackson’s fall was a long and excruciating thing to behold.

An obviously unhappy and strange man who committed sex crimes against children - and the fact that he was abused himself as a child is not an excuse. Made some phenomenal music up to and including his monster “Thriller” album, and he was a helluva dancer, but he’ll be remembered more for his misdeeds and generally bizarre behavior.

I’m pretty sure that Obama would have been against any heroic measures or actions being taken to save him ... hope there were no wasteful expensive medical procedures done on him after he was technically brain dead.

So what did Michael Jackson have in common with J.C. Penney?

Both had little boys underwear, half off.

RIP to one talented, strange dude.
