You said — Ark of the Covenant led the Jews out of Egypt, holds the ten commandments, maybe a rod and some manna.
—
Well, to get into the details of the matter, the Ark of the Covenant didn’t lead the Jews out of Egypt. The Ark of the Covenant was built a considerable length of time after the Egyptians were all drowned and gone (that were chasing them). The Ark of the Convenant was built later.

And then you were saying — The Ark was also carried before the Jews into battle and is reputed to have assured their success.
—
The trouble is, it didn’t always “work” for them that way, all the time. That’s because it wasn’t the Ark of the Covenant that was insuring their win in the battle but rather, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who was. And sometimes, He didn’t, and thus, the “Ark of the Covenant” was shown to not guarantee their win... :-)

And lastly you said — Mystery has it that the Ark is returned to The Temple before the End of Days.
—
Ummm..., that would be better stated as “Speculation has it that the Ark is returned to the Temple before the End of Days”... LOL...
I don’t find that in the Bible anywhere. It may be and then again it may not be. We’re not told and it’s pure speculation (as opposed to other things in the Bible where we are told of some things that will happen at the last of the End Days.
By the way, we’ve been in the “End Days” since the time of Pentecost, when Peter gave his sermon to the Jews. In other words, the “End Days” has been about 2,000 years long, (almost) thus far...
And that’s why it’s more accurately described as the last of the End Days, rather than the End Days (because your entire life has been lived in the End Days, thus far...).
And for the rest of you on the ping, here is more “Ark of the Covenant” stuff... :-)
THX.
Good points.
Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
