San Francisco celebrates diversity with the 39th annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Parade & Festival this weekend. Dozens of pride-related events take place throughout the Bay Area during the week to entertain the thousands of celebrants making the pilgrimage to San Francisco, but the big weekend party at Civic Center Plaza has been known to draw vast crowds in the hundreds of thousands.
This year's event theme keeps the recent struggle for the legalization of same-sex marriage at the forefront of the celebration, drawing the theme concept “In Order to Form a More Perfect Union” from the Preamble to the Constitution. The Civic Center will welcome a wide variety of entertainment on both days to multiple stages featuring everything from political speakers to live bands to a variety of DJ areas.
This year's performance areas include the Trans Stage (focusing on transgender entertainers), the Soul of Pride African American Stage, the Asian and Pacific Islander Stage and the Homo Hip Hop Stage. In addition to main stage entertainment including a battle of the bands, there will be no less than eight different sound systems pumping everything from house and techno to swing and country music in the Civic Center area.
Sunday's action begins with the Pride Parade up Market Street from Beale Street to the Civic Center. Traditional parade leaders, the SF Women's Motorcycle Contingent (aka Dykes on Bikes), kicks things off at 10:30 a.m. A cavalcade of over two hundred organized groups of marchers and floats will follow, taking the festivities into the afternoon. The Sunday crowd will get treated to main stage appearances by comedian Marga Gomez, members from the cast of Broadway’s popular ‘Wizard of Oz’ retelling ‘Wicked’ as well as performances by rising Japanese dance-pop sensation BoA, Solange Knowles (the younger soul-singing sister of Beyonce)

Nothing but such events are great places to hookup and have sex orgies with other perverts.
When the Differently Sexual have their pride parades, should the heteros feel some kind of shame? Why don’t we ever get any pride? All we get is Senators toe-tapping in restrooms or begging their wives to let them go cheat in Buenos Aires.
