This does not bode well for her.

Most Americans are strongly opposed to Affirmative Action, to include blacks and hispanics. It's a matter of principle.

This brings to the forefront her "out of the mainstream" views on race...with a contemporaneous overturning of her most recent decision by the Court she hopes to sit on.

In fact, it makes her look dumb and behind the curve.

If consistency counts for anything, Sotomayor gets high marks. She was overturned—again. Her OBA (overturned batting average) must be approaching 70%.

This her the perfect judicial candidate for the left as it idolizes dysfunctionality.

The decision should have been 9-0. To prove racial discrimination, you have to show discriminatory intent — not just disparate impact. Washington v. Davis provides good precedent.
