Races in Thurmont(closest town to Camp David)...

...and a number of them my relatives. I attended high school there.

I think it's safe to say there isn't a particularly high number of Obama voters living in Thurmont.

"Maybe he is planning on having Rev. Wright at Camp David"

I believe you have just hit on the exact reason for the Camp David choice!

If only the ignorant masses would sober up from the coolaide and do a little research:

The ‘Obama File’ by our own FReeper, Beckwith, has been selected by the Library of Congress for inclusion in its historic collection of Internet materials

With this picture, I'm reminded Rush's recent joke about the difference between God and Zer0. The difference is that God doesn't think he Zer0.

but chief among them was the desire to worship without being on display.

Or NOT worship without being on display.

I thought for certain he would pick serveral churches, temples, and mosques and rotate among them to be one of all the people

The Bushes went to Camp David nearly every weekend when they were at the White House. I was surprised to see Obama staying at the White House most of his firt few weekends, but attributed that to his being more of a city guy.

White House aides and friends of the Obamas have been quietly visiting local churches and vetting the sermons of prospective first ministers in a search for a new - and uncontroversial - church home.

I'm guessing Jesus wouldn't pass muster.

Great way to combine a weekend vacation with church. Doesn’t have to mix with the smelly commoners in DC.

Well, there’s 1 on the north of Rockville (with a BIG satellite dish - Al-Jazeera?), and we have a brand-new one down the street here, although I guess a potential hour-hour-and-a-half drive isn’t worth it.

That’s a good prayer.

I hope you’re right; but I seriously doubt it.

Does “2 or more races” mean mutts?

Does this also mean there are NO blacks in Thurmont area?

Not that I’m shocked, but you’d think there’d be just 1 at least.

But then, there apparently aren’t any orientals, either. Which is also odd considering half-hour proximity to high concentrations of these races.

Id would be less expensive to taxpayers if they just moved the Camp David Church to the White House. I mean, otherwise we’ll be paying for costly trips to Camp David EVERY weekend, just so he can go to church.

Those people were in ALOT more “financial distress” than any of our spoiled-rotten American brats are.

The whole premise that we have a “bad economy” is shaky to start with.

I still don’t know of a single person who has been laid off or otherwise unemployed around here, except some people when Linens-n-Things went belly-up. And 1 woman there joyfully told my sister that she’d be taking a long vacation on welfare Unemployment instead of looking for a job. If that doesn’t tell you how spoiled the whole society is, as well as corrupt welfare is.

Of course, continue with this communism and it WILL go in the toilet.

Are you kidding? Look how many repeat posts we have from so many people on this thread.

Especially a large 1 starting: “If only the ignorant masses...”
