Looks like he learned that move at monster truck school.
Beginning to think the same for Flash.
Stewart won...my day is complete and serene.
Stewart always wins... as I take my marbles and go home
I had the race recorded and just watched it, I hope Kyle learns an important lesson here, there are times when his actions can be too dangerous for others, especially in a restrictor plate track like Daytona.
I would say its possible that Tony is going to get vocal about the disadvantages of having the engines choked back like this, there is too many wrecks nowadays at any plate race, the cars are able to handle the speeds much better than years before and have a better safety system withe the SAFER and the Hans and of course kudos to the COT designs.
We definitely got our foam’s worth out of the latest Daytona race. some pretty solid hits applied..
Dang, those cars are safe, well, so much safer than not so long ago.. ya have to really work at it to roll one of these CoTanks..
All the lessons learned still won’t prevent finishes like that in the future..
NASCAR might also want to look more closely at fan safety. If the 18 would have gone air born like Carl Edwards did, those fans hugging the fence wouldn't have had a chance nor would NASCAR once the fans' and their families' lawyers went after them.
Given all of his supposed skill, Kyle Bush should know better than to drive across the nose of the car next to him at 190 mph. That crash was his fault, though he'll probably blame his spotter or blame Tony.
Shrub took out a lot of cars being shrub whereas Tony showed a lot of driving skill on the track and diplomatic skill off the track in the interviews following his win. My respect for Tony Stewart increases more and more this season.
I’m in a 250-ish rut.. I guess I should stop trying to save driver picks. It’s tough being conservative about yur picks. :-}
Tork, Yur hanging in there real good. Grok is falling faster than the $USD. We remain back in the pack.
Yer right! I could have built up some extra points but no, I had to save my drivers which makes no Cents as I am going to use them up later so what is the difference. Pete and Rocc had high score and I’m still in fourth. Headed to church as the Pastor knows there is no racin today...
Any race Kyle and/or Montoya lose puts a smile on my face.
The Edwards, Kennseth, Reagan team is my favorite.
Reagan’s first year I thought he should have been black flagged, but he has turned into a talented, likable driver.
My sentimental favorite is Martin.
I found it extremely irritating and even though I had the race on a Dishplayer delay I was constantly bumping past any of the commercials on the split screen.
Two guys in Church commented on the positive placement of the ads. This has been brought on by all the recording of the race for later playback and I am sure the ad sponsors were calling for cheaper ad rates because of it.
Another dismal foggy day
on the mud flats of Humboldt Bay
I got this system, ya see? However, it’s much too complicated to explain here. Suffice it to say that chicken bones, eyes of newts, bat’s wings and darts play a prominent role.
She wasn’t bad......my pet snake didn’t like her much, though.
Since you’re a fan of Ragan, Kenseth and Edwards you must be a Roush fan as well. :)
Ragan did pretty much wreck himself there at Daytona, but stuff happens when you’re going fast.
Not so much a Roush fan. Kinda became a Ford fan way back when Awesome Bill was racing Dale Sr.
I thought NASCAR was allowing an unfair advantage for Chevy when they allowed the sloped rear window to replace the flat one on the Chevys. Back when cars were unique to the Mfgr.(wish they still were)
Anyway, got to cheering for Ford and still do for most of them. Not so much so for McMurray (cry baby) and ambivalent towards Biffle (?).
