Good coffee, good cigars, nice weather, people who stand up to tyranny. I can think of worse places (Minnesota, for starters).

Michael Jackson (in his current state) could run in MN and win, as long as he promised “universal” health care , cardcheck and said crap like “do it for Paul”.

I can’t wait to see who we get to choose from for guv...
uggggh.

Well, look on the bright side.

It means my state (CA) is no longer guilty of sending the WORST senator to Washington.

Reform voters are Jesse Ventura’s whack jobs. If anything, they’ll pulled votes away from Smalley.

The democrat unbeatable strategy for winning is to “find” enought votes to put you ahead and then declare all uncounted ballots as invalid. Simple!! God help the USA!!

An idocracy. Certainly not a democracy. That much is obvious.

Pitchfork time yet?

Is there a pool on how long before Franken gets out of control and attacks someone in the senate?

I was eavesdropping on a tour one time in the Capitol and the guide said the last fistfight between Congressmen was sometime in the sixties. He said who, and the exact year, but I've forgotten the details.

“IT is all over the DEms now have the magical 60 votes, and they will never lose power again...”

Unfortunately, I think you may be right. With 60 votes in the Senate and 255 votes in the House, there’s now an unstoppable Democratic machine in Congress. They will now try to ram through anything and everything that they want.

Al Franken is the result, in part, of petulant conservatives who decided that they could not tolerate anyone who doesn’t match their idea of perfection. And so to punish what they called RINOs, they either voted for a third party or sat the election out.

When did Coleman lose to Ventura? Did Coleman run for Gov? I know he served as Mayor of St. Paul when he was a Dem but the only Dem I remember running v. Ventura was Humphrey, Jr. ... but I don’t know much about MN politics. Nor do I want to !!
