Solution. Tell Obama to FO and keep selling what the people want.

Sounds like a plan.

Precisely what a heck of a lot of people/companies will have to do, or lose customers, money and rights.

When the time comes to replace the Dodge Ill be looking very close at the F150. So far it looks like Ford is the last man standing.

I’d love to have an F-150 that got 32 miles per gallon, but what I want and reality often clash with reality winning the battle.

I believe the F-150 will be popular for years to come....I own a 2006 myself...and buy a new one every 5 years...unless Obama outlaws them....

Instead of selling new vehicles, maybe Ford can just refurbish the old ones. Bring your truck to the dealer every 10 years or so for a new engine.

The real solution is going to come when people who pay their taxes themselves find they don't have the $ and decide not to pay. These are the small business owners and self employed. They pay big.

Actually, it is a problem. The majority of those F-150s are stripped out models sold to fleets. The profits on those variants is quite small and at times when gas is up, sometimes nonexistent.

I have a ‘73 F250, and to my eyes, it looks like the best plan is to begin stocking up on parts to keep that old bull running like a top long into the future.

LOL

Right on - I have an F350, a 1992 model and it still gets 17 / hwy. 351 Clev V8 with 199+K miles and still running strong.

Dilemma? It tells me the clown cars of the future aren’t going to be received well by Americans .. if at all. I look for those standards to change with a new Congress.

And how many useless camry’s are sold to fleets in the rent a car industry. I always make sure to request something other than a camry when I rent.

We are buying F-150s and other pick-up trucks because we are going to need them!

This just shows you how incredibly stupid the UAW is. They’ve helped to elect someone who’s primary intention is to put their employers out of business. So far, that person has been wildly successful at doing just that.

I'm guessing Obama doesn't gt the vote of most pick-up drivers.

He doesn't care one bit about Ford's dilemma.
