Zelaya, defying coup, plans return to Honduras (What will Obama say after Zelaya is arrested?)
reuters ^ | 6/30/2009 | reuters

Posted on 06/30/2009 3:54:38 PM PDT by tobyhill

Defying a coup and bolstered by international support, ousted President Manuel Zelaya said he will return to Honduras on Thursday to serve out the rest of his term.

He said he would be accompanied by the Argentine and Ecuadorean presidents, and the U.N. General Assembly and Organization of American States chiefs.

But the interim government -- set up after the army bundled Zelaya out of the Central American country on Sunday -- said it would arrest him if he tried to re-enter Honduras.

There is an arrest warrant for Zelaya right now so if he returns he will be arrested. Obama and the UN are looking like idiots defending someone with an arrest warrant on their head.

Oh how scary, with the idiots, I mean presidents, of Argentina and Ecuador. I think Honduras will do Ecuador a big favor if they arrest their president.

Chavez is not on the list. Word has it that he is hiding under his desk and peeing in his pants at the though having to get of an airplane in Honduras. Why? Chavez knows that he would very likely be SHOT DEAD if he showed up in Honduras!

Just goes to show that these fine globalist organizations love their marxists. One more organization we need to get the hell out of.

This is tremendous, Don, just tremendous. The atmosphere heavy, uncertain, overtones of ugliness. A reminder, in a way, of how it was in March of 1964 at Miami Beach when Clay met Liston for the first time and nobody was certain how it would turn out. The crowd is tense; they’ve been here since ten this morning. And... and I think I see... the door beginning to open. El Presidente may be coming out. The door opens. It’s he... it’s El Presidente waving at the crowd. A shot rings out! He turns... he runs back toward the building, trying to get in. This crowd is going wild. He’s caught in a crossfire of bullets. And down! It’s over! It’s all over for El Presidente!

What will Obama say after Zelaya is arrested?

He'll say this is an intolerable situation, he condemns it, and Zelaya must be released immediately. (All leftist dictators must receive full support.))

Ok, reports have it that the country’s Supreme Court and legislature have acted to remove the creep; not just the military. What means, “Supreme?” If they say he’s to be arrested, one would have to make a case against the court.
Has anyone done so? Has 0bama, Clinton, the UN, anyone offered any reason, made any claims, with regard to the legitimacy of the court (not to mention the legislature)? If the corruption’s THAT bad down there, that both branches of govt are illegitimate, it should be an easy case to make.

Everything that was done was done in accordance with the Honduran Constitution and its established procedures. It’s stunning that Bambi and the UN can simply reject Honduras’ right to govern itself by its own (fair and democratic) laws.

Machiavelli would have recommended the man be shot, not deported. If he’s such a rabid animal, one shouldn’t bag him and take him for a ride and deposit him tenderly in the next country over.

I've yet to hear a single argument to the contrary.

It is attributed to Arnaud-Armaury, the Abbot of Citeaux, and “spiritual advisor” to the Albigensian Crusade.

Pope Innocent III ordered the Albigensian Crusade, to purge southern France of the Cathari heretics.
It began in the summer of 1209, with their first target - the town of Beziers.
The Catholic faithful in Beziers refused to give up the Catharis among themselves.
The crusaders invaded.

When Arnaud-Amaury was asked whom to kill he replied “Kill them all. God will know his own.”
They did.

The crusaders slaughtered nearly everyone in town, over 20,000, either burned or clubbed to death.
Thus they achieved their goal of killing the estimated 200 heretics who were hiding in the town

accompanied by the Argentine and Ecuadorean presidents

A head of state travelling to a foreign country without permission is an act of war.

The UN and the Obama crowd are using this incident to destroy national sovereignty worldwide. They will probably win as Honduras is a small country.
