Defying a coup and bolstered by international support, ousted President Manuel Zelaya said he will return to Honduras on Thursday to serve out the rest of his term.

He said he would be accompanied by the Argentine and Ecuadorean presidents, and the U.N. General Assembly and Organization of American States chiefs.

But the interim government -- set up after the army bundled Zelaya out of the Central American country on Sunday -- said it would arrest him if he tried to re-enter Honduras.

...and then he’ll do zilch about it other than fund Chavez through some backchannels.

It is attributed to Arnaud-Armaury, the Abbot of Citeaux, and “spiritual advisor” to the Albigensian Crusade.

Pope Innocent III ordered the Albigensian Crusade, to purge southern France of the Cathari heretics.
It began in the summer of 1209, with their first target - the town of Beziers.
The Catholic faithful in Beziers refused to give up the Catharis among themselves.
The crusaders invaded.

When Arnaud-Amaury was asked whom to kill he replied “Kill them all. God will know his own.”
They did.

The crusaders slaughtered nearly everyone in town, over 20,000, either burned or clubbed to death.
Thus they achieved their goal of killing the estimated 200 heretics who were hiding in the town

Wow what a target rich environment. Be a shame if an “accident” were to happen to all of them.

U.S. officials said Zelaya would likely meet State Department officials while in Washington.

What a concept: A drug thug Marxist wannabe hanging out in a friendly country. Mine.

accompanied by the Argentine and Ecuadorean presidents

A head of state travelling to a foreign country without permission is an act of war.

The UN and the Obama crowd are using this incident to destroy national sovereignty worldwide. They will probably win as Honduras is a small country.

“Everything that was done was done in accordance with the Honduran Constitution and its established procedures”

That is the bottom line which is conveniently overlooked by the msm and the other vermin.

I'm thinking this is not going to end well either way.

A kill on Zelaya would be bad enough, killing the other presidents would tip LatAm into a big war, and from the looks of the Honduran military Honduras would not fare well.

OTOH, letting Zelaya land would probably lead to his return to power. It would be another blow for national sovereignty worldwide, and increase the influence of the Chavez axis.

What would happen if O-less would send in OUR troops to support this anti-constitutionalist?

Honduras is at risk of being invaded simply for sticking to conservative principles like the rule of law.

The World Bank is cutting off loans, which is a devastating soft embargo led by an unaccountable international institution.

OTOH, letting Zelaya land would probably lead to his return to power.

His OWN LEFT WING party threw him out, and right wing latins don't take kindly to being told what to do by a bunch of communist sons of bitches.

The Honduran army, Congress and Supreme court all support the action to remove the communist bastard and the only shot he has at being reinstated is by force from a foreign aggressor.

Baraka Hussein doesn't have the balls to order OUR military into Honduras, they might just round up his skinny communist crypto-muslim ass instead.

If Chavez or any other communist son of a bitch attacks they will need a new puppet, as Zelaya will be dead as a doornail the minute the first shot is fired.

These leftist have a plan all right, and its going to work as well as all of their other plans.

The rest of the clique isn’t quite safe, either. I’t be really weird to see several countries missing a head of state at once, and yet, it’s disturbingly too possible.

"There is an arrest warrant for Zelaya right now so if he returns he will be arrested. Obama and the UN are looking like idiots defending someone with an arrest warrant on their head."

I would hope you are right, but Obama is in a position to strangle Honduras economically, lead much of the world in isolating its government, and with the willing support of a leftist media frame everything he does as an attempt to return Honduras to democracy. Honduras should not have let Zelaya leave the country. I am afraid that a Marxist coalition of countries will force Honduras to submit and the truth of its constitutional actions to remove Zelaya and his totalitarian actions and alliance with Chavez to smuggle drugs and money will never reach the public at large.

How ‘bout we let Zelaya be Senator from Minnesota and we let Al Franken take his chances in Honduras.
