General Electric is getting yet more taxpayer money, possibly laundered federal money, to subsidize its business.
A GE press release announced that the state of Michigan will provide GE with $60 million to build a $100 million “technology & software center” — what used to be known as an “office building.”

Off the subject.. but are there no EMTPY commercial buildings in Michigan that GE could purchase? Why would they have to build one?
GM HQ comes to mind. Ditto any GM brand.

I live in Michigan and I can tell you that almost all of the Commerical Buildings in Michigan are vacant or are being prepared to be. What this Democrat did to this state is unmentionable.
IBEW kickbacks, etc....
It probably has to be “shovel ready”. The only thing they are shoveling so far is you-know-what down our collective throats. And instead of standing up for us, our Congressional leaders say “Thank you sir, may I have another?”
But then Granholm would lose out on the politician photo op, you know, the one with the hard hat, ribbon-cutting and foot on the shovel in the ground.
Isn’t there a brand-new shiny unused Michigan State Police headquarters building in Lansing?
And what media outlets does GE own? Hmmm....these aren’t media outlets that pray to the Lord and Saviour Obama every day on their networks, are they?

Jeff Immelt, the CEO of GE is on Obama’s economic advisory board. It raised eyebrows when Immelt didnt step down from CEO. As a huge media conglomerate, it was felt it could sway opinion. It’s even more disturbing the direct gift to GE.
I remember watching a Glenn Beck episode, early on in this debacle, and he was doing a chart trying to explain where the money to AIG went. I stopped listening to what he was saying and just looked at the chart for a moment and it occurred to me that what was happening was money laundering. And the money was going through AIG to various other entities, foreign and domestic.
But, but, she's so good looking. Didn't they tell us (ad nauseum) how good looking she was? Same with Nancy Pelosi. Forget whether they are qualified, or competent, they are "pretty".

GE is also big into the mercury filled curly light bulbs. GE is advertising their technology to electronically database all of our medical records.

Best example of graft in Michigan, currently: The new State Police headquarters. Interesting story, if you like throwing up.
I read about this a couple of days ago and the first thing I thought of is payback to Granholm, GE and NBC.
Are they trying to tell us that there aren’t enough buildings available in Michigan to suit their needs? They have to use yours and mine money to build a fancy new one? It’s an engineering facility with white collar workers, how the hell many “tech centers” are sitting vacant in Michigan right now? Hundreds?
