There are whole sections of Detroit, up near State Fair, I think that have reverted to prarie.

There is a web site out there that shows this.

Just advertise on Craigslist that the building materials are free to the first takers. They’ll have the buildings demolished and hauled away for free.

The city/redevelopment agency owns all of these properties?
Or are they just skipping due process for the rightful owners?

That is blatant disrespect for the elected officials who are counting on kickbacks from demo contracts and outright misappropriation of funds.

This is Indiana, not Connecticut. There is a presumption that the buildings were lawfully acquired.

You ever been to Gary?
