YouTube ^

I was not academically qualified for Princeton or Yale and was accepted, despite low test scores, because of affirmative action.

Good grief, I wouldn’t want a black doctor or lawyer.
Would you?

Right Soto Mayor, you are a product of Affirmative Action - the discredited policy of achieving racial equality by advancing unqualified or less qualified candidates over white candidates, generally males.

But we simply can't afford an affirmative action Supreme Court, despite what our affirmative action President thinks.

“Good grief, I wouldn’t want a black doctor or lawyer.

Well, interestingly enough, I have one of each. Both highly qualified. Both quietly “pissed off” by minorities that didn’t “get there” by their own merit.

Same for female airline pilots. As a line captain I served on a couple of airline pilot hiring boards, one with a female captain that was a holy terror with female applicants. I asked her once, if she should be a little easier on the gals. The response was quick and succinct. “Look, I paid my dues and worked up from the bottom. I’ll be damned if I’m going to let some affirmative action broad come in here and sully MY reputation”.

God love her.

"black doctor"

I would if it were proved they were competent. Even if they were granted admission to practice medicine or law by aa, after a number of years it would be apparent if they were competent or not. Word gets around. By the way, I'm totally opposed to aa or affirmative discrimination as I call it. I know of white doctors who've had their licenses taken away for incompetence or other reasons. It's a sad fact that aa has put a stigma on black professionals. They might think they've accomplished something, but they'll never get the respect they might have rightfully earned in the absence of aa.

Remember his assertion that the language spoken in Austria is "Austrian"? Can you imagine the headlines if Sarah Palin had said that?

Yes, Palin catches h&!! for things she's never said. "I can see Russia from my house." The left ignores things that come right from BO's mouth.

PRECISELY!

Man, if I was a black professional who was smart and ambitious and who paid my dues and worked my way up the old-fashioned way, I would be screaming to high freaking heaven against affirmative action.

Anyone who was not aware of this is flat out stupid or just not paying attention.

The vast majority of minority students (non-asian) at top rated universities are far below the normal entrance requirements. And many of them are NOT from disadvantage backgrounds.

I went to high school with a minority student who got into Yale (with a 1000 SAT score) even though his father was a doctor and his mother an elementary school principle. He wasn't disadvantaged at all. But Yale didn't care about that. They just wanted quotas.

I had a 3.99 GPA in college.
So, obviously, I’m much more intelligent than the 2.7 GPA
of POS Obama.
Now, if anyone can present me with his college records to dispute me, I’ll retract my challenge.

Oh, wait, there are no records.
Never mind.

She is obviously an inferior intellect.

She makes her way by being a racist pig. It looks like we have another thurgood marshall on our hands. Is it really mean to wish that nature tells her to slow down that something is wrong?

A stupid person elevated to a position where they have no business being.

The entire Obama administration reeks of this.

That’s unfortunate. She is a product of affirmative action which I wouldn’t brag about. How do we know that being such a person she wasn’t pushed up the ladder with better grades than she deserved and is she really smart. Her speech, manners and decisions suggest otherwise.

Some time ago I posted an article from National Review magazine that detailed how Michelle Obama got her higher education from affirmative action preferences. As far as he’s concerned, he could always say that he had an unfair advantage because his mother was white! HA! HA! Also, good point - the unqualified minorities who get the free ride just cheapen the achievements of those who are qualified and who work hard to accomplish something.

Exactly. And, believe it or not, many schools actually RESTRICT admissions of orientals because they’re minorities who are TOO SMART. What a world!

No, no, no. You are all missing the point. Didn't you hear? She told us the tests she scored poorly on where racially biased against her. The implication being that had those dastardly tests not been racially biased against her she would have scores commensurate with her peers. ITS THE TEST'S FAULT!

I posted an article a while back that told how Chavis, the black guy who bumped Bakke from medical school, actually ended up maiming and killing patients. That, and other affirmative action outrages, are detailed in William McGowan’s book, “Coloring the News.” Fortunately, Bakke got into another medical school and became a successful physician. But you’re right - the whole scam is hurting us economically and professionally.

Amen! By the new standard you and I are racists because we deny that a Latina female is smarter and has greater insights than a white male!
