The UK has no bill of rights so its theoretically possible Parliament could force churches to perform gay marriages. In the past, dissenters and Catholics were forced to get married through the Church of England.

Wow, what a surprise! Who could have seen this coming?
Now that degenerate sodomites have gotten the state to approve of their farce of marriage, let’s get God to sanctify it as well.

Not in my church. You will be told it is a sin, and an abomination and you are going to hell if you don’t seek forgiveness and accept Salvation.

One day, coming soon, a same sex couple will go to a Catholic church and ask to have a “wedding” performed. The priest will refuse, and the couple will sue. This will be repeated throughout the country.
Purpose: to bankrupt the Church.

OK just saw the UK there...

The churches in USA should not be forced to go against their religion!

Actually, my brother in law got married in a registry office two weeks ago. Strange kind of thing - its actually very difficult to make up solemn ceremony without religous language, but anyway, I digress...

The point is that the registrar quite clearly said that marriage under UK law was defined as a union between one man and one woman, so I guess that’s the end of that then.

People who cling to a state church have got to accept state policy in that church.

The answer? “Come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord.” Join a separate congragation of believers that does not endorse the state church.

And Bill of Rights? This won’t matter in the USA soon. Most churches have already signed away their rights by filing for 501c3 status with the IRS. They do it voluntarily. No law requires it. A 501c3 organization is subject to public policy.

In the early up to the 1950s churches were not generally 501c3 organizations. They masses of churche were lured into it, and now they are entrapped.

There will also be law suits in the USA against churches which deny sodomites a church wedding. And sodomoites will win enough of these, until at some point it won’t be necessary to sue -— pastors will be indicted and prosecuted criminally on federal civil rights charges for refusal.
