Exposure by Free Republic has forced the Huffington Post to take down an article attacking Sarah Palin over her Down Syndrome afflicted child, Trig, within ninety minutes of the offensive article being written about at Free Republic.
Clicking on the source link at the Huffington Post now brings a page devoid of the article and headline. The keywords referencing Trig remain, however the original 'Comedy news' tag has been changed to 'Home news'
The article, entitled "Palin Will Run In '12 on More Retardation Platform" was written by Huffington Post writer Erik Sean Nelson.

bump
When can we expect “comedy” like this about the Obamas?
*crickets chirping*

Leftists keep proving, over and over again, that they are the most despicable creatures on the planet. Good for FR! Any small victory helps, even against such odds that we face... against the evil that has enveloped our country.
I fear that Palin has chosen the welfare of her family over that of her country. I hope such is not the case, although I wouldn’t blame her if it was. Point being....logically, if ‘her’ country goes down...so does her family, right along with all the millions of other families that will suffer as a result of the leftist/Marxist commie bastards.
Palin was/is our last best hope, in my estimation. Unless there is someone else out there that I am unaware of as yet, I’m afraid that our worst nightmare has happened. And in a NY minute.
God help us.
From Bloggasm:
Simon,
No story, I pulled it down. I got some emails from offended loved ones of the retarded. No one was seeing the absurdity of Palin hiding behind her children, so my piece was not accomplishing anything good. Thats all that happened.
Best,
Erik
:)
Now she will be FREE to travel and spread the word...Palin/2012
Nelson will pro’ly get the first question at Obama’s next presser. He’ll wear this like a badge of honor, the putz.
You sure know how to win friends and influence people, don't you?
Pathetic....
Can’t wait to hear what Davodd Litterbox will have to say about this tonight.
If I were to make a funny out of Palin making her announcement, I’d show the part of the video where the birds are frolicking in the water behind her and have turn around and bag them both with one shot and then give the recipe.
Can’t wait to hear what her plans are.
1. Senate
2. Sick of it
3. CNN thought baby which is cool with me. My mom was 44 when I came along and nearly 46 for my younger brother.
More power to Sara Palin whatever she does. I know it will be a job well done.
I'm glad the article was taken down, but it looks like this piece is just a vanity post that offers no real evidence of the headline assertion. Huffington Post is seen all over the web, so how do you know that it wasn't some other factor or influence that lead to it being pulled, over an hour later?
HA HA Atta girl. That hits the target and nice tie-in to current events, too.
Here is new article. I guess we shamed them into pulling it.
parsy, who is still po’ed.
((((Hugs))))))
Great idea!
I get a picture of an elephant walking down a dirt road, carrying a knapsack on a stick with his trunk, and carrying a sign by his tail that says, "Sarah 2012".
Maybe have a big carnival tent in the background with GOP banners waving in the breeze.
That “pull down” message is offensive in itself. At least any future apology is impeachable as a result. Not that one would be forthcoming.
They are desperate group those Dems.
There it is again..... Barack Mussolini. This must be the fourth or fifth shot of seen of him in that pose.
A dictator wannabe, if I ever saw one.
Palin is now in EXACTLY the same position that Reagan was in 32 years ago.
The slower kids in the class will begin to understand this in a week or two.
Obama = Carter
Palin = Reagan
You really shouldn't have to spell that out for folks, but, oh well...
Free Republic was first to report on the offensive article. From here it was picked up at Twitter, Hot Air, Sweetness and Light and other blogs.
