We have a population intent on fighting back hard – against criminal government, and its betrayal of America. The call to battle began weeks ago, and today as millions join in a revolution already well underway – an accomplish fighter just declared her intention to lead – full time.

I second your several important points.

She has freed herself for a fight.

There are growing millions readying for this fight, and ready to look to her for leadership as they did for inspiration.

The executive regime of Obama is a criminal enterprise bent on the destruction of the nation, its principles and republican bulwarks.

It is a cult of murder and deceit in pursuit of power and subjugation which will fight like the devil.

It is not for nothing Saul Alinsky's forward for Reville for Radicals contains an homage to "Lucifer".

The war on That One is in every generation.

Yes, so would I. The more I think about it, the more I think she is putting her family first. To hell with the yapping left and the snarky right.

When I lived in AK one of my best friends was a senior aide to senator Ted Stevens. I would take him fishing 8-10 times a year and listen to how, because of his time in the senate how many lobbyist connections he had and blah, blah, blah. Stevens is one of the top guys responsible for the current mess our Federal Government is in. Term limits would make it 100 times harder for the current lobby system to own our government from the state and federal levels.

Returning to laws on the books in all states prior to 1900 would do a far better job of ridding this nation of lobbyists.

Term limits are not the answer. Returning political power to the local level where is was for the first 150 years of this nation would. Ending the 'professional politician' would do the same - returning to meeting but three months of the year in the legislature, as was done for most of this nations history.

The real problem is that of ignorance. Not knowing this nation's history, not following the advice of our Founders, and thinking we are smarter than they were.

Absolutly agree to local level control. Step by step is the only way we’ll get there. So long as the current lobby system controls our rep’s that will not happen. Term limits are a way to cripple the power & money whores who currently control our financial system and government.

If population grows, then representative government should grow in proportion...not necessarily insulated government bureaucracy!

I think we are vastly under represented...535 folks for a country of over 300 million....no wonder it became easy to be gerry mandered and screw up the political pipes as it were!

Now THIS is speculation I can believe in!

Gov. Palin is not a wimp. What I think her attitude is: “If I’m going to take all this flak, I want it to be for a good cause. There isn’t nearly as much wrong with Alaska and me as there is with The United States.

If I can do anything for my country, I can do in the United States Senate.” (especially after the recent Franken crime).

Prayers for her and her family.

May she ever be a forceful warrior in The Lord’s Army and in behalf of our Republic.

Great analogy, especially after the Letterman thing!

Thanks for that RonDog, but unfortunately I don’t do videos as I’m on dialup. There isn’t any other access to the internet available out here in the sticks (or so I’m told when I seek out such access), and it takes forever, if at all for videos to load. The latter being most often by my experience.

Apples and oranges. Nary a hint of truth ever passes zer0’s lips.

The growth of gubmint has to be slowed before it is stopped, and it has to be stopped before it is reversed. The commie rats didn’t take over in a day, and they won’t be defeated in one day, in one election, nor in one generation. We have a lot to undo, and the best way to accomplish it is the same way we lost it: persistence, little victories upon which to build, and universal Conservatism, argued, fought, and spread until we have the reins of the country back again. They did it to us, and we can do it back.

Do not sneer at incrementalism, the tool of the left, because it has soundly defeated us.

It’s been in my mind for quite some time.

The Letterman cracks only cemented it.

Recently, a huge hoard of Iceni coins was unearthed in the UK.

Coincidence?

I don’t believe in coincidence.

We'll see...

Jonathan Alter at Newsweek wrote:

The final proof that Palin has no intention of fading away is that she quoted Gen. Douglas MacArthur, who was only pretending to fade away (from his perch addressing a joint session of Congress). "MacArthur said, 'We're not retreating, we're advancing in another direction,'" she concluded. So is Palin, south and east, from Lake Wasilla to the Potomac.

She said she “CHOSE” to resign.

Big Difference.
