The hospital in Hawaii where Barack Obama claims he was born refuses to produce any documentation without permission of the president himself.
The Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu has posted on its website a letter on White House stationary dated Jan. 24 in which Obama wrote, "As a beneficiary of the excellence of Kapi'olani Medical Center the place of my birth I am pleased to add my voice to your chorus of supporters."
Kristy Watanabe, the public relations specialist for the hospital refused to confirm or deny the veracity of Obama's letter claiming he was born at the hospital.
"Our comment to everyone who has been calling is that federal law does not permit us to provide any more details concerning information [about Obama's birth] without authorization from Mr. Obama," Watanabe told WND.

This is going to be an interesting week...
Hey, this should be simple. All Obama needs to do is just give the approval. Oooooorrrrr, will he spend another $1M to keep anyone from getting information from the hospital.
I thought a relative could get the BC pulled by the state and I thought Orly had a relative who would join her lawsuit and get the BC?
OK...sounds like a simple phone call from the anointed one, and the whole BC issue could be put to rest.
I’m not holding my breath, though.
It’s time to take back the country.
This Watanabe creature wouldn't be so limited if the office holder in question was a Republican.
“..confirm or deny the veracity of Obama’s letter claiming he was born at the hospital.”
.
“Confirm or deny..” — that the crux of the matter.
I am sure glad I don’t work at that hospital, an errant N Korean missle is headed its way........
The heat is on.We need to turn it up a few more notches while he’s spending our money in Russia playing lapdog to his comrade buds.
This has gone beyond absurd.
How many other U.S. Presidents have felt compelled to post letters of adoration on the hospital web sites where they were born?
“Hawaii why aren’t you proud of your native son?”
The Hospital does not need his approval to say he wasn’t born there. If there is no record, there is no privacy to protect.
Well thats what the HIPPA laws say
From the article:
wrote Roz Makuala, manager of constituent services in the governor’s office, in a e-mail in response to WND’s request for information Oct. 24.
Those listed as entitled to obtain a copy of an original birth certificate included the person born, or “registrant” according to the legal description from the governor’s office, the spouse or parent of the registrant, a descendant of the registrant, a person having a common ancestor with the registrant, a legal guardian of the registrant or a person or agency acting on behalf of the registrant.
So if a person having a common ancestor with the registrant can request a proper vault copy,
how about half brother living in hut sweet hut?
Ya think an old Katrina single wide would entice him to scratch his mark on a Hawaii request??
This guy needs a wake up call.
Right.
Perhaps water down the demand from “produce documentation.” State that he was born there. Hospitals announce births without running afoul of HIPPA or any other protected privacy interest.
Want to make all Obama opponents look like freaks and assist Obama in his reelection?
Then keep up with the Birth Certificate Trutherism.
“I am sure glad I dont work at that hospital, an errant N Korean missle is headed its way........”
I’ll give you credit.
Hadn’t thought of that angle.
It’d be a darn shame if the anti-missile batteries were called off for a diplomatic reception with Akmedenadoodoo.
