“Concerns have also been raised as to whether H.R. 2454 will contribute to our nation’s deficit. This legislation is estimated to raise over $846 billion of revenue over the next ten years and will ultimately result in a $24 billion dollar federal surplus.”

This moron can’t really believe this can he? Are the dems that deluded?

That’s the problem - they always believe their own propaganda.

"As you may know, this legislation is designed to reduce carbon emissions by 17% by 2020, achieve energy independence, reduce pollution"

He's a dammed fool. That legislation will do NONE of this. Any reductions in carbon/pollution here will be multiplied overseas where they have little or no laws governing such things. Developing nations WILL NOT go along with this idiocy, will do nothing but weaken us by transferring what remains of our industry to those countries.

"Cap and Trade" amounts to legislative Treason, given how reckless and harmful to our country it is.

This legislation is estimated to raise over $846 billion of revenue over the next ten years...

Letssee' where does that $ come from. That's not a tax or a rise in energy prices is it?

Bwah-HA HA!

Yes, he is a d@mned fool. He’s keeping as close to Pelosi as possible. Unfortunately my district is ultra liberal and heavy union. Once they get in, the only way they get out is to run for another office.

He’s as phony as a 3 dollar bill. He KNOWS that it will raise taxes but is trying to hide that fact. Unfortunately for him, I know demspeak.

You known, the tyrants Lenin and Stalin had a brilliant understanding of future generations of Americans.

It’s rather scary. It’s almost like they could foresee the future and planned accordingly.

The dems aren’t deluded. They are, however, convinced that the American people are ignorant, second class citizens who need to be ‘governed’ by the elitist LibTards in the Congress.

It’s time to take back the country. A good start would be to replace ALL the incumbents in the next election cycle, and the next two after that.

Rev Cleaver never read the bill. You can bet he never read the draft of the form letter that he sent you and nor did my congressman Dennis Moore. Missouri and Kansas has officials in Washington that need to be sent back home.

I remember when the lines were redrawn for the KC City Council and Cleaver was running in the district that included my home.

My parents and I would laff our tails off at his campaign literature. Big ol smile and Afro. No accomplishments, of course. Yeah, he’s gonna represent us alright.

“Missouri and Kansas has officials in Washington that need to be sent back home.”

Amen to that. Rev. Cleaver needs to come back home to be a reverend only...he needs to be unemployed from politics.

All I know is that he sucked as a Mayor. Two terms, accomplished nothing but spending the city into oblivion. His shining moment? Spending 160 thousand dollars for a saxophone.

Cleaver once stated with a straight face that “a certain level of corruption is needed in government.”

Well, he was certainly corrupt as mayor of KC. He was the reason that I decided that I would never live in KCMO proper, nor work there, and I do my best to avoid spending money there as well. The thought of paying taxes to the city that he ran at the time was abhorrent to me.

Unfortunately, he’s my representative, and he’ll hold that seat just as long as he wants it...

Mark

Spending 160 thousand dollars for a saxophone.

Please... It was a toy saxophone. Again, that led to my decision to avoid ever paying taxes to KCMO again. Mark

Got this in email yesterday...different issue but still a chance to let him know how we feel:

Who: Any patriot opposed to the socialization and nationalization of health care
What: Protest rally at Congressman Emanuel Cleaver's Kansas City office
When: July 17th, 4PM
Where: Emanuel Cleaver's office: 101 W. 31st Street, Kansas City, MO 64108

There is a Tea Party in Kearney that same day so I may come down and hit both events.
