They didn’t want someone bringing information backed up by video, photographs, The Hadith and the Koran, and a vast library of documentation.
He would have shown them to be ill informed windbags.
“The ALA and the other panelists have demonstrated cowardice and moral myopia,” said Mr. Spencer”
Well, that and they know when the jig is up...sitting on a panel with an expert on the “Religion of Peace” is a non-starter in Muzzieland...
Moslems.
Wiping with their hands since 1200 A.D.
Yeah, there's a lot of that going around these days.
A civilization-threatening pandemic of it, in fact.
did LGF’s Charles Johnson have anything to do with this?
he has been very anti-anti-Islam
The cockroaches scatter when someone turns the light on.
If anyone finds that Ann Sparanese of the ALA is involved in this act of cowardice, please post it here at FR.
She’s an old red, Venceremos Brigade,July 4th Coalition, contributor to the old Communist Party USA newspaper the Daily World and/or Peoples Weekly World (its successor).
She was involved in a lot of ALA activities when they refused to support imprisoned librarians in Cuba.
Now you know the whole story.
Three pro; one anti: odd definition of "fair and equitable" these librarians have.
Just ask them about making child porn inaccessible on library computers, though and see how fast they scream CENSORSHIP!
Our submission to Islam continues apace, now moved forward by the American Library Association. Muslims can tell such organizations who they may and may not invite to speak and participate in panels, and we are supposed to believe the ALA couldn’t find any substitutes. Nice.
When the other speakers ran away scared of the Islamic bullies, as a matter of principle the American Library Association should definitely not have canceled Robert Spencer.
It’s ridiculous doubletalk to say they canceled the “panel”! There’s only one thing they canceled and that’s Spencer.
Robert Spencer is a gem. Inviting him to be on the panel was an excellent decision. He knows his subject well and is not politically correct. He’s a defender of freedom in his books, internet postings, and on the air. The librarians would have learned a lot had they actually been allowed to hear him.
The librarians who decided that their own invited speaker should not be heard because bullies said he shouldn’t need to have their librarian licenses rescinded.
