I sure hope so because I know there is trouble brewing in America.

Oooo, sounds nice. Can the flash hider be swapped out for the standard Bird cage flash hider?
Not that I know what any of those things are, mind you, it's just 'academic' curiousity

(As Mason said to Dixon, you have to draw the line somewhere.)

Not sure if you can swap the Ruger for the birdcage. Ruger notoriously has their own way of doing some things.

Yeah, some manufacturers don’t like to have things standardized.
It would be nice if they all used the same type of thread. Or it could be welded on if it were to be under the minimum length if the flash hider were taken off, sigh.

On the plus side we dismantled the mechanism. It is very robust and looks like it will take a lot of firing abuse. The gas control is easy to adjust and is clearly marked.
All in all, Ruger really did their homewok on the weapon with a lot of custom features that are usually add-ons for other AR's. At the $1700-$1900 MSRP, it's a lot of good rifle for the $$.
Now if they just made it in 6.8 SPC and 7.62X39.

I’ve already done that but thanks for the reminder to others.
The more people we can get armed and to join, the better.
