Hehehe...let them keep it up. It is backfiring on them and they fail to even see it. Just more and more evidence of how much they fear her.

She initiated a brilliant flanking manuever against the left, the DNC, and the MSM (and throw the RINOs in there for good measure) that has them all in a frenzy wondering what her next move will be and how it will be perceived...and has them frothing at the mouth in their efforts to discredit her.

Sarah will now get her book out, go on tour, give speeches and promote conservatie principles all over this country in the midst of the Obama administration disaster and gain great political capital in the process. Then she will support conservative candidates in 2010 and help them win, amassing much more political capital. She will then take all of that and make an awesome, stunning run for the Presidency in 2012.

It is remarkable how the MSM are so concerned with Palin. I’ve never seen this close examination of a politician’s exit without being associated with a scandal. Of course, that’s the reason for the examination—to create the aura that she is resigning under a “cloud” of some kind. Never mind that there isn’t a scandal, the MSM will add the effects that come with one and hope it just creates “questions.”

"Make a long-term schedule and stick to it, have staff members set aside ample and inviolable family time to replenish your spirits, and build a coherent home-state agenda that creates jobs and ensures re-election."

This says nothing about how to respond to the endless, frivolous ethics "charges". Clueless. Utterly clueless.

I noted on another thread this morning that the NYT appeared to have had reporters on the ground (from New York, Anchorage and Wasilla) since last Fall, and continually right on through to recent weeks.

They were there, in Wasilla, the night arsonists tried to burn down a church Governor Palin had attended.

Now when you get right down to it and you find a Pentecostal type church getting burned, you look for people who hate Holy Rollers, and there's no group in America more down on Holy Rollers than the people at the New York Times ~ or if you insist ~ or the Washington Post.

I think a smart ATF agent could easily connect 2 and 2 to find some possible "witnesses" to interrogate.

The people at the NY Times are dumb as a hoe handle on real subjects in the real world, beyond the Hudson River. The do not understand the reality of Sarah Palin, or of the people who understand and like her. It seems like the "advice" they say she rejected must have come from people like them.

Schmucks on board a sinking, journalistic ship.

For being a future non-entity, the left sure is giving her a lot of attention.

Man, how long is this attack going to keep up? If she lays low for awhile will it even help? Part of me is positive it that has to backfire but there’s that other part of me that says they’re going to destroy her. Makes me want to punch out the nearest reporter.

They will NEVER leave her alone, they are TERRIFIED she will run for President and WIN, if they were not afraid of that, they would have left her alone a long time ago. Either they are afraid she will run for President or they are afraid she will advance Conservatism giving the Republicans a chance to take back the House or Senate in 2010. They see how strong Sarah is, they see that she has a huge following. If Conservatism is advanced, well guess what, the libs LOSE. Tell me, how many vice presidential candidates, who didn’t win, get THIS much coverage 8 freakin months after an election. She can’t burp without the media asking how big it was. The media is STILL asking “How come she resigned?” Good Lord, what the hell has happened to the education system in this country, these so called geniuses in the press and in politics don’t understand how come she resigned..my 8 year old cousin understood perfectly.

The great thing about all these snarky hit-pieces, which come from so many different sources, yet are so predictable, it that WITHOUT EXCEPTION they just make Sarah Palin that much more popular with growing numbers of people. If she wants it, she WILL be the Republican nominee, and I for one hope the Left continues the attacks because that will be their (self-induced ) undoing.
I would LOVE to see them at their tipping point, somewhere in the near future, and watch them as they realize they have brought about their own nervous breakdown and the dissolution of the Democratic Party for the rest of the 21st Century.

The official, the association’s executive director, Nick Ayers, arrived with a memorandum containing firm counsel, according to several people who know its details: Make a long-term schedule and stick to it, have staff members set aside ample and inviolable family time to replenish your spirits, and build a coherent home-state agenda that creates jobs and ensures re-election.

Translation: "Allow the hard left to continue bankrupting you, one bogus ethics charge at a time; and don't even think about trying to keep the GOP out of Mitt's diseased RINO paws in 2012, you... you... you filthy conservative, you!"

Question! Why are Obama’s eunuchs in the MSM so upset over Governor Palin’s resignation? They should all be jumping for joy and partying hardy. Instead, they are acting as though they are very concerned and worried about the governor’s future political career. Those people are nuts!

Why should she have heeded the advice of a bunch of career politicians? She is not one of them. Who cares about “creating jobs and ensuring re-election”? She knows governors don’t “create” jobs, and getting elected is not an end unto itself. Palin is a transformational figure. Now she can she is freed from her farway outpost, she can take time to build alliances, construct an inner circle, and battle for conservatives nationwide. Years from now, Americans will be so sick of Obamanation, and will be so thirsty for what she is offering us.

Let’s see, since she announced her upcoming resignation, her popularity has actually increased, and SarahPAC has taken in over $200,000 in donations, most of them in small donations. I think Palin’s political instincts are better than those of the RNC, and those giving her advice. Once Palin’s finally free of the governorship, and can speak and travel where and when she wants, her popularity will increase as will the donations to SarahPAC.

Considering what the RGA’s then-president was up to, it strikes me that Nick Ayers was intervening with the wrong governor. Imagine how that letter might have read.

If she wanted to replenish her spirits she could work from home more

Oh right, that gets ethics complaints.
