OBAMA: I ACCEPT THE RESPONSIBILITY ((for the economy), and then blames Bush)
MSNBC ^ | July 14th 2009 | Athena Jones

Posted on 07/14/2009 5:21:04 PM PDT by libh8er

...“It’s a job I gladly accept,” he said to applause. “I love these folks who helped get us in this mess. And then suddenly say, ‘Oh, this is Obama’s economy.’ That’s fine. Give it to me. My job is to solve problems -- not to stand on the sidelines and carp and gripe. So I welcome the job. I want the responsibility.”....

He didn’t take questions at the ‘Town Hall’ did he?

They were worried someone might ask a question who wasn’t an Obamaphile

Sounds like Barny Frank on Bill O stating that he was not to blame for the fanny and freddie melt down but fought for more regulation. I thinks that's call speaking out both sides of your arse.

"My job is to solve problems -- not to stand on the sidelines and carp and gripe."

That's a good one. All he can do is carp and gripe. He's been doing that for years. Nothing America has ever done is good and he sees himself as the man who can and will change all of that. And as everything keeps slipping, he fails to see that his policies aren't doing anything at all to make things better, and reverts back to step one - It's not his fault.

We elected an imbecile.

“Did I say this was a two-year recovery? I meant to say its a four-year recovery. Wait, it might be an eight-year recovery. Y’all better re-elect me just in case.”

I posted more than a few times, both before and after the election, that people, including those most enthralled with him during the campaign, would be sick of this guy before the end of his term.

He's a jerk, a smarmy, insincere, sarcastic jerk. kind of a half-black Eddie Haskell.

Now I think most people will be sick of him by the end of this year.

What a pinhead he is, trying to have it both ways. The real pinheads, however, are the voters who elected this clown on his personal magnetism and empty “hope and change” rhetoric. The public is starting to realize that the major problem you create when you elect a President on his celebrity is that you wind up with a celebrity for a President.

Someone needs to make one of these that has a pull string that only says "It's Bush's Fault".

Does that mean he is stepping down and asking Dubya' to come back or is he just lying again?

How long before people tire of seeing/hearing him on the airwaves and say, “ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!”

Why don’t they set up an Obama Network. Oh they already have.

Hey I offered to send a couple of Chia Obama’s to Iraq but my sons didn’t think the chain of command would appreciated it.

By golly, you are 100% correct!

BTW, the ‘Beave’ lived 2 blocks from me as a kid.
