Do you really believe that Obeyme didn’t lean on them?

Good point - and quite a quandary. The Army ought to ask for proof that 0 is even eligible to rescind the order!

If I recall correctly, Obeyme and Biden being ineligible would render the election null and void. I believe that it reads that the VP would fill in until someone who is eligible can be picked. Pelosi would only become CiC in the event of a disaster and not because of a false election outcome..

I imagine the mods pulled the earlier articles because they included his social security number.

Didn’t win anything. The military pulled the orders, so this issue will now simply disappear. The case is now moot.

According to post 29 on this thread:

Taitz said she will attend the hearing to amend the temporary restraining order to an injunction because more members of the military have joined the cause.

“We are going to be asking for release of Obama’s records because now this completely undermines the military. It revoked this order, but it can come up with another order tomorrow. It can come up with orders for other people,” she said. “Am I going to be flying around the country 1,000 times and paying the fees every time they issue an order?”

I think what we are witnessing is one of the first telltale signs and implication of a Constitutional crisis extending beyond the military. Non military orders that normally come from the office of the President may also be challenged for the same underlying reason as this case.

Somebody in the chain obviously must have. Probably "in the interest of national security". /s

On the contrary. This issue is going to fester and grow for the reason stated in post #29.

Ah yes, thanks for the reminder.

A relief, but can you imagine another election?

(maybe Fred Thompson could do a better job this time around...?)

Yeah. That was my thought. The Army wouldn't just do this without an order, or a hint, or being leaned on. It's above their pay grade. ;-)

I forecast early in the day today that is what they would do in response. This is, again, as I said this morning, poor legal work on the part of our side.

An acting military officer is one of the best plaintiffs we could have. Forget the whine about why you don't want to follow the order--the prayer for relief should only have said we don't want to follow orders because this guy is not the President and can't issue them.

We have often and regularly had opportunities to effectively bring this to a legal head and because we don't get sufficient legal horsepower on the target, we lose.

It would be a circus but that's better than a nightmare.

Not yet it's not. Others have joined the suit as per post 28. Are they going to excuse them all from duty? We'll see.
