Fetuses found to have memories
By Jennifer Harper July 16, 2009
They weigh less than 3 pounds, usually, and are perhaps 15 inches long. But they can remember.
The unborn have memories, according to medical researchers who used sound and vibration stimulation, combined with sonography, to reveal that the human fetus displays short-term memory from at least 30 weeks gestation - or about two months before they are born.
"In addition, results indicated that 34-week-old fetuses are able to store information and retrieve it four weeks later," said the research, which was released Wednesday.
Scientists from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maastricht University Medical Centre and the University Medical Centre St. Radboud, both in the Netherlands, based their findings on a study of 100 healthy pregnant women and their fetuses with the help of some gentle but precise sensory stimulation.

Wow, that made me cry. Thanks. Beautiful.
Makes sense since they are human beings...
They are NOT ‘fetuses’ g0dammit, they are unborn human beings.
fetus is latin for “little one”
I don’t see anything wrong with the term - it’s just another stage of human development.
Of course- except NARAL and Planned Parenthood and their supporters who have insinuated themselves into the Obama administration who think otherwise as do the liberal justices on the US Supreme Court.
I could not possibly disagree more; it’s a term which is almost universally used to depersonalize and dehumanize the unborn in an attempt to make their murder less unsavory.
That’s the way the left uses it.
That isn’t the way it originated or was intended when the term was first applied.
But as usual - the left takes something and twists and perverts it.
So I usually try to twist it back to it’s original meaning...”little one”.
Marked for later
THX.
BLESSINGS,
Please ping your lists.
Makes sense, doesn’t it?
Thank you, That was beautiful and moving.
