"Decrying a federal government he says is out of control, former Georgia Gov. and U.S. Sen. Zell Miller said Thursday that America is “spending like we’re Paris Hilton.”
But the comparison to the blonde socialite might not be the worst offense in Miller’s litany of all that’s wrong with the country.
Speaking to more than 1,000 conservative - overwhelmingly Republican - lawmakers from around the country, Miller said, “Today, we’re spending like we’re Paris Hilton, regulating like we’re Ralph Nader, nationalizing like we’re Hugo Chavez, printing money like we’re the Weimar Republic and taxing like we’re, well, the Democratic Congress.”

the comments section of that article is full of people screaming racism. who cares. if we say oblabo sucks, we are racist in their opinion. if they say oblabo is great, they are pathetic morons in our opinion. does not matter. this country is going to hell because of hyphens. we are not just american anymore, we have to be something-american. we have to pander to hyphens, be sensitive to their heritage and special needs, and be careful not to step on their hyphenated feelings. well i for one am sick of hyphens and their “sensitivity” i am an american. period. no hyphen. anyone who chooses to define themselves with a hyphen can kiss my happy american as$. i will no longer be politically correct, if someone wants to insist that makes me a racist hater..... so be it.

Since Zell is a democrat, they’ll just have to take him to task on it. One thing for sure, Gorilla glue is one of the best glue products on the market that I have found.
Where was this side of Zell when he was governor?

They can be used, but if you just use them because they have derogatory power and not when any part of there real meaning applies then they become meaningless curse words that reflect on the user not the target...
Does any one on the left believe any one here would supports Obama ideas or actions if he was a different race? Would the left embrace our ideas if Obama had a conversion and started to profess ours?...

As long as we are willing to “voluntarily” comply, the fed govt will borrow and spend as much as it desires using the taxpayer as collateral. We are chattel property belonging to the fed.gov.
The fed.gov has mortgaged our future beyond our ability to repay in a reasonable time. So prepare for increased taxation at a rate never before imagined. This administration, and this congress, has only just begun to plunder. I figure the health care bill will put the final nail in the coffin. There simply is no return.

Zell is chillin in his hometown of Young Harris in the north Georgia mountains. Most likely cruisin downtown in his pick’em up truck. I have been there, it’s a beautiful and friendly place to live and/or retire.
Every now and then, Zell comes out of the countryside to the city to make a statement. Like this one for example. We have come to appreciate his classic Zell zingers. True to his form, this one being his latest, has summed up our situation in classic Zell style.

I disagree. Joe is cannon fodder. The more he speaks the more we learn just how challenged he is. Without doubt, our VP is a flake. I figure Hussein chose him for his incredible ability to express stupid. Since next to him, Hussein considers himself to be genius. So Hussein lowers the bar to appear brilliant in order to satisfy his self indulgent ego. And he is right. Meanwhile, Joe is too stupid to figure it out. He even admits he doesn’t understand why he was chosen when there were more qualified people.
