Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is leading Sarah Palin in the early fund-raising race among potential 2012 GOP presidential candidates, raking in a cool $1.6 million in the first six months of the year, new figures show.
Romney, who raised more than any other Republican during his time in the 2008 primary, has continued his torrid pace, more than doubling the $733,000 raised by Palin since Jan. 1.
Romneys Free and Strong America political action committee raised a total of $1,610,019 since Jan. 1 while handing out $74,000 to federal and state GOP candidates nationwide. After expenses, the PAC was left with $841,000 cash, according to a federal campaign finance report filed yesterday.

I don’t recall saying that he forced YOU to do anything.
Just like Obama—I mean Romney— said, if you like your health insurance plan, you get to keep it.
Hooray for you and to hell with everyone else, I guess. So glad you like your health plan.
Hannity is in love with Slick Willard. Watching the two of them in an interview is like seeing Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell sing “You’re All I Need To Get By...”
So you endorse his plan? Socialist
The name-calling marks your ignorance, though your obvious lack of understanding about what is or isn't socialist already did that.
Just keep on tossing that word around so it becomes meaningless--just what the Obamoids want you to do. Well done!
LOL! exactly
Translation: “Mitt Romney Accepting Money from DemoLibs and Scaredy-Cat RINOs to Stop Fund-Raising Neophyte Sarah Palin.”
You couldn't read my feelings about Romneycare in my original post? Illiterate.
well said.
Trying really hard to come up with scenario where a liberal running on Republican ticket could be electable, or where I might vote for one. Or at least not campaign against them.
Nope, not possible.
You sound just like Obama.
So glad you like your health plan.
I don't like Romneycare at all. But that makes your silly rant look stupid, so you conveniently skipped that part of my original post.
This place sure is gettin' stoooooopid. So much for interesting political discussion about conservative politics--now it's "Yew be a so-shal-issst!" 24/7 to everyone who doesn't repeat back one's exact beliefs.
With all his money, supposed slickness, business sense, smooth talking etc..
He lost BIG TIMe in the primary,
He’s a loser!!!
It didn’t help him win last time. He’s going to go bankrupt finding out that America doesn’t want him.
Totally disagree.....Sean was repeating MSM taking points and saying her lead in a poll they were discussing was just a summer poll and not to be taken seriously as she was not electable etc ........sounded like Oberpunk from PMSNBC !
He is not the one that gets to sanction who I vote for and support.
He proved to me this PM he’s just one more book selling self serving presstitute repeating what he hears.
If GOP continues with this hit job on the best thing they have had since the mid 90’s they have lost the next 2 elections for sure.
Romney , Rudy, Huckster, Newt are all done , too much moderate baggage. No valid , demonstrated conservative values IMO.
My opinion , nothing more.......stay safe !
And more insults of Conservatives like a rabid dog. Typical liberal troll.
I read your posts, you said your health care didn’t change
If so I gather you think it was all good or not to bad.
Did I misunderstand you? SOCIALIST
Not real sure what that dictionary thing is for are you dimwolf?
The particulars of Mitts health care plan in Massachusetts are indeed socialism.
I am sorry that vocabulary and literacy are beyond your grasp, but you could attend night school.
If Mitt Romney is in, I’m out!

Yeah, I know. Said some similar things about Bush in 2000. But at least he was pro-life, pro-family, etc, and thank God we supported him over the idiot All Green Gore.
Said similar things about McCain in 2008. But when asked the question “when does human life begin?,” and he unabashedly stated, “At conception, of course,” I had to take notice. Then when he announced Sarah Palin as his running mate, I decided to support her. I voted for Sarah (and the white haired old geezer that came along with the package).
But Romney is a NO go. And I don’t care who this socialist, abortionist, homosexualist, constitution trampling bastard picks for running mate. If Romney’s in I’m out!
G.O.P., R.I.P!

Oh, boo hoo. Go whine about how badly your liberal ‘stale bread’ candidate is treated somewhere else then. In the meantime, if you want to act like Colin Powell, you’ll be treated that way. But don’t pretend that anyone is demanding absolute fealty because we won’t accept the tragically flawed.
Yes, I want to worship socialists--that's why I said we shouldn't misuse that word, so it has some impact when we need to criticize ACTUAL socialists.
You are what is known as a "useful idiot"--you don't even realize that your debasement of the word HELPS the socialists.
And really, that tired, tired "You're a troll, head over to DU" thing is the label of someone who has no intellectual capabilities for arguing the facts of the issue at hand. But then, I already knew that about you.
