Then, at the last hour, he CAVED IN, and his signature put the bill over the top.
He’s never answered for his crime.

Don’t worry, the people of OH will reject him for governor but not because of his hostility to the Second Amendment. They will call him a “right-wing” fanatic and repudiate him.
After the murder of Condit's sweetie, Kasich pulled the fastest conversion to straight-arrow I have ever seen. Overnight he went from Wild Man Party Animal to Pious Protestant Papa, complete with American Gothic Pitchfork and Overalls. And O yeah, please ask him about Global Warming.
Chandra Levy was killed in 2001. John Kasich went from bachelor to married man (second marriage) in 1997.
I have read corroborated accounts of Kasich and Condit attending a concert or two together. The rumors that you refer to never seem to have corroboration. But they seem to be freely cited on Free Republic by some posters.
Can you provide any citations of Kasich's alleged wild behavior until Chandra Levy was murdered?
I worked at the same hospital as John Kasich's now wife in the 1990s. I had working contact with her quite a few times. She never struck me as anything but a decent, common sense lady. I'd be shocked if she had participated in any way in any kind of charade in her marriage.

I am not advocating that Kasich be ridden out of Columbus on a rail, just that he might well be taken with a grain of due diligence salt before we start running him for President.
And do ask him about Global Warming.
IMO it is almost 100% innuendo. Certainly there are no facts beyond anything more serious than Kasich hung out with Condit at a rock concert and had considered campaigning for Condit at one time.
And on global warming: I’ll agree that he’s playing both sides of the fence.

Because that was the scuttlebutt back when Condidit’s uh, proclivities with latex came to light. Every bit as valid a rumor as Kasich.
Just checked with Mrs. Liberty...the rumor was Scarborogh. Kasich just has a ridiculous haircut.
I’ve always thught of Kasich as a Rino and that he was quite dubious, especially on guns.
