I wish the unemployment rate in WAshington D.C. was a little higher - by say, 100 Senators and howevermany Representatives there are, plus the President and his staff.

Dream on.

Of the 15 states-10 went for Obama-
Michigan, California, Florida,
Illinois, Indiana, Nevada,
North Carolina, ,
Rhode Island, Ohio and Oregon.

Louisiana, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Alabama voted for McCain.

Would any pollster dare ask the question-If you had it to do over again,
would you still vote for Obama ?

And these are “official” government unemployment figures. Does anyone believe their unending bullshit anymore? The real figures are probably closer to 20% in the Obama Belt Blue States.

Folks, we’ve got a real Depression Christmas coming on this year. But liberals don’t believe in Christmas anyway so we’ll probably see the kept press coming out with headlines like; “Administration Cautions Against Irresponsible Spending on Energy Consuming Toys.”

I’m putting out my Christmas lights anyway for tradition’s sake and so the neighborhood children can tell their kids that they remember them but I think my street is going to be much darker this year.

Bummer for those who voted for BO. To them , all I have to say is:

“I can only HOPE you all are able to find some CHANGE in your sofa cushions. Just remember—YES, YOU CAN/SI SI PUEDE turn in bottles and cans you find in dumpsters or along the road for some money”.

Most Fed policymakers said it could take "five or six years" for the economy and the labor market to get back on a path of long-term health. To get there, consumers must return to a regular spending groove and housing prices need to start rising again.

And let me add one more thing: The RATS must give up on their economy destroying cap & tax plan. If that becomes law, any meager recovery will come to a screeching halt.

The hidden energy tax on everything we buy will dampen the "spending groove." The Federal, Imperial Government Home Inspection that must take place before you can put your home on the market will further destroy housing prices.

FWIW, my house is not quite six years old. A friend of mine who runs a home inspection service and is familiar with my house and has read the relevant portions of the Cap & Tax bill, told me I'd need to spend around $2,000.00 to bring my house into "spec" if I want to sell it. Guess I'll stay here awhile.
